Happy at Kabuki

The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays! We really enjoyed our experience here. Our bed was very comfortable, and the room had a beautiful view of the city, Golden Gate Bridge, and Mt.Tam in the distance. We enjoyed cocktails at the hotel bar and they were delicious. The neighborhood felt safe, and it was fun to walk up Fillmore to all the shops and restaurants. We appreciated getting a hotel discount at the Kabuki Springs. Both my husband and I enjoyed massages there and the baths! Overall, a wonderful time!
Be aware. This is an old beat-up property. Not as advertised.

Be aware. The photos of the hotel on the website do not come close to the actual hotel experience. The room we had had street noise. There were what appeared to be blood stains on some of the linens. Hairs in the shower. Nicks on the furniture. This hotel is old and desperate need of renovation.
Don’t stay at this hotel

Overnight parking is not promised as there are limited spots and they do warn that your car could be broken into. The room is awful and the beds are the smallest beds I’ve ever been in. The AC didn’t work - overall 0/10 would not recommend. Customer service was terrible and not willing to help.
Kabuki Hotel Excellent Experience

Kabuki hotel is in the most perfect and most safe location of San Francisco. It is right next to Japan town and Fillmore neighborhood which have a lot of food and entertainment. We were able to easily park our car in Japantown mall for $30/ day which is very afforable for SF. Hotel rooms were very nice and clean, and hotel lobby was cozy and inviting. All staff were very happy, nice and helpful. We will definitely come back at stay at this hotel :)
Autopark staff’s behavior was completely unacceptable.

Hello, I am an Uber driver and I make deliveries to customers. Between 1:00 and 3:00, I came to your hotel to deliver an order to a guest using my gray Honda Accord. You can verify this through your security cameras. I stopped in front of the hotel with my hazard lights on and informed the front desk staff. I delivered the alcohol and food order directly to the guest’s room. On my way out, I took a coffee from your complimentary coffee machine and showed it to the front desk staff. The staff member gave me permission. I then walked toward my car with the coffee. As I was about to get into my vehicle, a parking attendant spoke to me in a very rude manner and tried to force me to leave. He took the coffee from my hand. I offered to pay for it, but he refused to listen and said that it was only for hotel guests, then forced me to leave. Your hotel staff clearly needs better training. The attitude shown over a $2 cup of coffee was unacceptable. This experience left a very negative impression, and I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The entire incident can be clearly reviewed through your security cameras. I am very upset because I was treated like a dog. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
