Just a mid level hotel

Cory B on Jan 09, 2026

Me/Hubs went to LV in April for the USW Conference. We did not arrange our accommodations. We've been to LV several times & even were married there 22yrs ago! Harrah's was a budget friendly hotel. It was just "mid" check-in was speedy which was nice but, the hotel itself was lackluster. There wasn't much to do the shops were small & uninteresting. Would've bought something at the crystal shop *its something I'm into but, everything was way overpriced. *Thats Las Vegas though. The restaurants were alright Hash House for breakfast was nice. It was actually too much food. Bobby Flay's burger joint was overpriced & just "ok". Expensive for an alright burger & fries. Our room seemed alright at first *Nice view of The Sphere which we went to see The Eagles! Awesome! Bed comfortable, TV didn't work * I need background noise to sleep. So that was annoying *asked to gave it fixed at the front desk & nothing. Left for the entire day to come back to the smell from what can only be described as someone farted in our room all-day! It was pretty rancid. Went to the front desk & nothing. Left the room & hoped for the best. The shower was leaky & was clearly a slip/fall waiting to happen. The pool which was advertised as "heated" was certainly not which was a bummer so I sat outside & just chatted with the ladies drinks were expensive but, was really awful was the double digit price of a bottle of Coke. Annoying price gouging. So, get pop & drinks at the liquor store much cheaper.

Perfect location for our family adventure

Location was perfect as we were there to see The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. We were able to walk to many of the venues and had easy access to the monorail. Plenty of on sight restaurants and easy access to these close by.

Never Again at Harrah's – Loud, Poor Service, and Subpar Room Quality

christiankaack (Hamburg, Germany) on Jan 09, 2026

I stayed at Harrah’s Las Vegas for the first time from January 5th to 9th, 2026, in the Valley Tower on the 4th floor. Unfortunately, my experience was utterly disappointing. The room provided a "wonderful" view of ventilation system pipes, but the noise level was worse. There was a constant 24-hour humming sound from the adjacent room, and the toilet ran continuously, creating puddles of water next to it. During the day, the extreme noise from the elevator sounded like a drone overhead, waking me every morning around 5:00 AM. Today they've started at 6:50 am to vacuum clean the hall way. The service was equally dismal. Housekeeping failed to replace used cups, and with long lines at the front desk (often seeming like 50 people), and no phone response, I resorted to buying my own cups at Walgreens. On January 8th, housekeeping didn't show up at all. Despite my call to them, which they surprisingly answered, they assured me they would come but never did. Throughout my stay, I reached out to various Harrah's employees for assistance, only to be directed to call the hotel's direct line. There seemed to be a pervasive lack of accountability; no one appeared to take responsibility for any issues, highlighting a significant management problem. To add insult to injury, I had to re-enter my internet credentials every 24 hours, and the connection dropped while I was in the middle of a conference call—simply unacceptable. They must know how long I am staying at the Hotel. In conclusion, Harrah's is the worst hotel I have stayed at in Las Vegas in the past 25 years. Despite its prime location, I promptly canceled my upcoming booking for February and will instead stay at the Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World. I will not return to this hotel or any other Caesars Entertainment properties.

Location is great, but your check-in is a lot to be desired.

James W (La Crescenta, California) on Jan 07, 2026

Was really looking forward for the trip at Harris since the location is a great spot. Although check-in was a complete nightmare, first I was given the option through both hotels.com and Cesar‘s property to check in automatically through the apps to which both said there was an error and could not go through called customer service for Cesar‘s property and Harrah’s they told me to retry to which it did not work again. So when I arrived in las vegas, I was going to use the kiosk since we are pushed to use that the moment you arrive and that failed as well so I then had to get into a second line and a fourth attempt to check in Which added another 45 minutes to this process along with the mini failed attempts. I would love to go back to a in person check in since we had only two available for a line of 50 people. That’s what makes it a lot less inviting to stay at the property. I can’t complain. The room was a great location and nice for the stay while the layout was a little lacking. It worked for this trip.

Great stay but bathroom situation ridiculus.

Tony B on Jan 06, 2026

Everything was great with the exception of the public bathrooms inside Harrahs Hotel and Casino. I'm not sure what the issue was with bathrooms but 3 of five bathrooms were closed for the majority of our stay. So two bathrooms that were open was at opposite ends of the casino.
