I won't revisit what you read over and over in the reviews As it happened we were there during the protests, roadblocks and lockdown. Thanks to the incredible people working at Friendly we were looked after . They kept everyone fed , and things seemed almost normal . Quite a lot of these kind hard working fol ok s we're working double shifts and slept over at hotel to take care of my wife and I as well as everyone else staying there . I'll never forget the kindness shown and heard not one complaint from the staff. I won't get into food , entertainment etc as the real highlight for us were people being kind and considerate during a stressful couple of days . I will acknowlede some staff who we came to know over our 11 days . Raul and Ceci in Palomar buffet , they made our whole vacation much better , Mary in Fiesta buffet , a lovely lady who always had a smile on her face . Rosario at egg station who worked so hard making our eggs and omelettes just right . Nardi in housekeeping who cleaned out room so nice and finally Sebastian at front desk always helpful and happy . I could go on and as we encountered no bad staff . Thank you all so much . Not sure when we'll return to PV but chances are good we'll go to the the Friendly again Jim and Nanny your friends from Ontario xoxo

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! My child and I especially loved the Kids Club — it is truly the best. The activities were fun, well organized, and very engaging. My child wanted to go there every single day! A very special thank you to Karina for her kindness, care, and amazing work. She made our experience even more special. We are very grateful and would definitely love to come back!

Hi Friendly, our vacation was great again this year. We come every winter to get away from snow and the cold and so far, PV has the best weather this time of year. The hotel has everything we look for, great balcony, comfortable beds, hot water, great food and friendly staff. The adult pool has a great restaurant where the menu is simple but always hot and fresh. The servers, Yanet, Yasmine, Andres, Wilson and Diego are always attentive to our needs. The area has a DJ every day from 2 to 4 pm which is sometimes enjoyable, sometimes not (depending on your taste in music) also gets really loud at times. We spend most of our days on the beach chairs. These are busy early on during the morning but there is more availability starting around noon if you are late riser like us and don't mind waiting a little for a good spot. Weekends are busier as locals come in for the weekend. The servers around the family pools and the beach are still the most attentive and friendly people we know. It is a pleasure to see Kalusha, Hugo, Braulio, Sergio (Double Double), Jose (cuty pie) and Tony every year. This year, the entertainment staff got a new manager Daniel (Pony) who made some welcome changes like some DJs during the evening who play more recent pop style music which is refreshing and fun to dance to on the beach every night. His staff are also great (Marcos, Lorena, Karena, Luis and the kayak guy (for got his name) and keep us busy all day with water aerobics, kayaking, boarding, mixology, pizza making, Zumba, salsa, Spanish lesson, bingo, etc. We even had movie night and a silent party which were a lot of fun! There are three restaurants and the variety of food is awsome except from not being super hot, it is a buffet after all. We did have great service there also. At El Palmar Luis, Claudio, Eduardo, Cecilia - Villa Linda Raul, Monse, Dimitrio - the Fiesta, Juan #1, Jose (enjoy your retirement), Katy and Abigail to name a few. Cannot thank the bartenders enough for the great service every day. Antonio, Miguel, Erika, Adrianna and Joel and others I forget, your cocktails were the best! All the cleaning staff are awsome, they work relentlessly to maintain the hotel and our roomm super clean. Thanks Luisa for keeping our room super clean and providing us with fresh linen and towels on demand. This is an older but comfortable hotel, no luxery but everthing you need and friendly staff! The location is close to airport, stores and restaurants. The only downside for me is the noise level. the is always music playing until 11 pm. Wish there was a break sometime in the afternoon. We will come again next year.
