Amazing experience. The best and most kind staff at any resort I’ve been too. They were extremely accommodating to my grandmother that has extra needs. Raul Ramirez and Double Double went above and beyond in making our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend!

Very nice resort, all of the staff are as friendly as the name of the resort promises. There are a few standout employees that deserve a special mention; bartender Joel, chef Paco, server Kathia. The lifeguard Getardo is one of the hardest working, friendly workers at the resort. He truly loves his job and makes everyone smile. The employee Marcos is their best employee, handsome young man working his butt off every day, bringing fun to every activity he does no matter how hot it is or grumpy some of the guests are. My only recommendation would be to improve the quality of the food and have more variation each day, after a while I wanted something different from the same Mexican food every day. When we were here there were few gringos to mix and chat with, 90-10 Mexicanos. It’s fun to meet new people and share experiences with other guests but found it difficult and limiting with so many Mexican guests.

My husband Derek and I have just finished a lovely 6-night stay at Friendly Fun Vallarta. We came from Calgary, AB for a babymoon before our 5th child is expected to be born in February 2026. Christina at the front desk was amazing and helped us many times with various minor issues here and there. She was friendly and eager to help and make things perfect. The restaurant managers were very helpful and accommodating to our unique requests even for things not at the buffet (pregnancy cravings!) The servers were attentive and friendly. We had so much fun playing volleyball with Pony (Daniel) and aqua aerobics with Marco. They made the trip so much fun and were always full of energy and enthusiasm. A highlight was also the silent dance party on Dec 19th! :) The rooms and bathrooms were clean and staff were regularly seen mopping and cleaning handrails etc. One of the 2 a la carte restaurants was closed for our stay for maintenance but they managed by alternating the 2 menus at the 1 location. The food was pretty good, not as high quality or as much variety as at 5-star hotels, but that’s what’s we expected for the value and overall we’re here for a break from Calgary weather so it wouldn’t deter us from coming back again. The beach was clean and it wasn’t difficult to find a bed or chairs to lounge on. The ocean swimming became deep quite quickly and the sand was lovely with some rocks; no issues with sharp coral cutting our feet. Thanks very much to all the staff for making our trip so memorable and special!!

The resort was great!!! Marcos and the staff were so amazing. Marcos always went out of his way to make you feel included in all the activities and made sure the experience was fun!!!

A very fun and relaxing location. The activities are fantastic. Love participating and experiencing sound healing on the dock. Yoga on the dock. The staff are so kind and helpful. Great location for couples, with friends and family.
