We spent the entire week at the fun & sports pool. Julio, Pope, Tony, and Hermana led an awesome and engaging entertainment crew. They do their best to get everyone involved and it kept bringing us back day after day. Julio, Pope, and Tony all made an effort to know me by name and engage with me wherever they saw me around. My wife is currently pregnant and Hermana kept asking about how the baby was doing. Very welcoming, comforting, and engaging crew! Having visited the first time two years ago, I do recall the quality of the food being higher before. Most of the drinks that I ordered this time were premade or very sugary. I would prefer to see more quality beverages being offered. That said, the food was still good. Please give my best to the fun & sports pool staff, especially those mentioned above.

Food: Decent overall. Meat dishes are often overcooked, but seafood and seasoning are generally good. The Grand offers a wide variety of dining options, which is a plus. Customer Experience & Service: Very disappointing. Food service is consistently slow. While room service is acceptable, staff frequently ignored privacy requests, disturbing my family’s sleep multiple times. Sales pressure for the Palace Membership is aggressive, and the promised perks come with many restrictions. In our case, being pushed into a purchase resulted in missing our airport transport, with no accountability from public relations. Rooms & Facilities: Also disappointing. Several areas of the resort were visibly damaged, including an incident where part of the lobby ceiling nearly fell on us. Overall: Marketed as a premium 5-star luxury resort, but the service level and facility upkeep do not align with the price paid.

Great pools and beach. The staff are wonderful and try very hard to make sure you have a good experience. Lots of different experiences.... for couples, kids, families and adults. Our pool concierges, Alejandro and Juan Carlos were on it every day. Thank you!

We just got back from the Grand Its our third visit and here is my honest review The hotel itself is still beautiful and really maintained well… our first visit was 2019 then 2022 and now December 2025 Rooms need updating — noticed mold on the curtains and walls, but because we love the resort we brushed it off Just wanted to let the new people that are coming and paying a hefty price The food and customer service make up for it Wanted to give a huge shout out to Juan Carlos !!! If you go to the Grill you will not be disappointed! He is the first waiter that expressed why he does his job the way he does He understands that we pay a lot of money to stay here and he is here make it the best experience for us So Sincerely Thank you Juan Keep it up

Great time at the Grand Pool, Julio, Bengi, Tony, and Pope were great with the kids and kept fun going ???????????? Activities were fun safe and inclusive. Highly recommend for families with kids!!!
