This was my third year visiting. Usually it’s just me and my wife, this year we brought our 18 year old daughter and my mother in law. The staff has always been my favorite. They are the same employees every year. Alfredo at the swim up bar is very personable and makes great drinks. Moises Rodrigues was a great cocktail server. He always remembered my name and greeted us with a smile. I’m excited to see them again next year.

We are returning this Thursday January 15 We were there 2 years ago and absolutely loved Super service, awesome staff, the resort is very well set up with ala carte and buffet The buffet had theme nights loved it Really looking forward to return

We really enjoyed the premium benefits - especially Cesar Lopez. He alway cared for us at the highest quality of service

So many awful things with this hotel that I'm not sure where to start. But I guess the worst thing is the inflexible service where almost anything is forbidden unless you pay the "premium" fee. You are restricted to only one towel and require a card for it... Unless you are premium. WiFi horrible, awfully slow even to load a simple gif in a messenger app. The all inclusive drinks include only a handful of brands unless, again, you are premium. No 24h room service unless premium. Dress code for the "best" restaurants where they won't allow you to wear a formal short (no sport) but you are allowed to wear pajamas or sport pants... Ridiculous inflexible. Horrible beach. Barcelo Puerto Vallarta Dec 2025 is a trip I will never forget! This is the hotel I was proposed to and got engaged at and will 100% return in the future. If you're looking to balance a family friendly and/or adults only trip, this hotel was able to do both well. If you want to adventure into town, the staff in the front are knowledgeable and kind and will get you there with tips and tricks. They offer so many things that you can do both a really active vacation and/or a nice relaxing one and I loved having the option to chose either or.
