Honeymoon Blunder

Safari780548 on Jun 20, 2026

I am being generous giving them 2 stars. Truthfully the second star is for the few smiling faces we were met with on our 1 week stay. The rooms are clean and the overall hotel is nice but for it being a “all inclusive resort” they truly lack on alot of things. After 11:30 there is no where to grab a quick snack everything shuts down. The food selection is very limited to mostly popular vallarta dishes. There at 3 additional restaurants that you must make a reservation for but they are first come for serve and they are closed on certain days. Secondly most of the staff is rude aren’t very helpful. You can relax by the adults only pool but you’ll have to wait for someone to walk by before you can get a drink or go to the other pool where the swim up bar is. They have an arcade room that you have to pay to use. 1 hour play on pool table will cost you $100 pesos. We had several waiters at the buffet that were great, as well as the waiter at the steak house. The late night shows are great! But most pleasant experience was getting off the resort into an uber and into the city. If you are looking to relax and enjoy yourself this wouldn’t never be my first choice. We wanted a change away from Cancun for our honey moon and unfortunately wasn’t great but we made the most of it!

Thank you Apolonia and Moises and the rest of the incredible staff!

Passenger61662511700 (Chihuahua, Mexico) on Jun 17, 2026

It was an incredible experience, we enjoyed the stay thoroughly, it wouldn’t have been as good without the incredible staff: Moises Rodriguez and Apolonia Flores and off course others which were constantly there to ask if we needed anything. Not just there to do there work but beautiful people and always friendly which made the place harder to leave. Whoever goes won’t be disappointed.

Please stop the midnight music before I hurt someone

A4424CVamandaw on Jun 17, 2026

Can you please stop blasting horrendous music outdoors until midnight. I hear everyone complain about this at breakfast - why would you do this?? I am literally crying this is the most overstimulating vacation ever.

A hotel with very good maintenance program, but a VERY OLD HOTEL

marcoantonio12142016 (Queretaro City, Mexico) on Jun 15, 2026

The hotel is very old and it shows its age! The hotel has a very good maintenance program, because everything is clen and functional (almost), but time is something you can’t hide. On the first night in the premium room, there was a water leak from the sealing. They told us that the draining system from the old AC was blocked, this was a very quick fix and the maintenance guy was very polite, but that was late, around 23:00hrs, so it was an inconvenient, small but inconvenient any way. The next morning the hall was again wet (my wife slipped and almost fall), so we call 0 (reception) and they told us that if we wanted to change room it was going to have an extra charge, so immediately we went to the front desk an YATZIRI GONZÁLEZ, on a very rude way told us that it was normal on hot weather like the one in Puerto Vallarta and we were free to ask as many times as we wanted for towels, obviously I was very mad (now), so I demanded to be change to another room, she told me that before considering changing anything, that she should make sure it was true what we were saying, but she was busy at the time and on her free time she would go to the room to verify, so I asked around what time that could be, and she told me when she can. She compromised that personally she was going to locate us (at the pool area) to let us know what solution she was going to give to us, of course we never saw her again! At the evening we went to the front desk again to talk to the manager MAURICIO URIBE, whom apologies from the TERRIBLE SERVICE of YATZIRI GONZÁLEZ, he showed a couple of rooms, (one of them smelled really bad, like stagnant water, as I stated earlier the hotel is old), and changed us to another room. I would like to emphasize Mauricio's excellent work, to solve the dreadful experience that we had to experience in our family vacation, for the conduct of YATZIRI GONZÁLEZ, also I want to applaud KAREN SILVA and ANDREA SAN PEDRO, for their carefulness for my family, regarding this event. The every night show is a very good one I highly recommend it, much better that the shows others hotels in Puerto Vallarta offer and even from shows in Cancun´s hotels. Just the show alone deserves a full star! I’m proudly Mexican and English is my second language but I need to reach as many people as possible, so I apology if I can’t write as good as it should be written.

Beautiful hotel can do with some upgrades

JustATravelerGirly (West Covina, California) on Jun 14, 2026

Beautiful hotel the outside is just stunning. Our room did have AC issues that were not resolved. Food is good but with some quality issues and some repetitiveness. The staff is friendly everyone we encounter was very nice besides one gentleman working at the Los Arcos Grill and food was cold. The entertainment was fun! Our view was beautiful but we did upgrade to premium. Our room did feel very moist and almost everything inside felt wet but maybe that’s just because we are so close to the beach and the weather. My whole family of 6 ended up getting a stomach bug. But that’s a risk you take when you visit another country. There was a dr on site but we didn’t use the service. Overall it’s a nice hotel but can do with some upgrades.
