Great place. Will repeat. Needs to improve quality control and overall service management.

Great and spacious rooms. Very Clean. Friendly staff. It was quiet and resting. The beach when cleaned is not bad. Service on the restaurants was lacking. Not enough staff created a rush service leaving a lot to be desired. Great variety of food of good selection but elaboration quality was not great.
Liked it, didn’t love it, but also didn’t hate it, Best part was the weather & our snorkel excursion booked NOT by hotel

I’ll start off saying I’m not one to write reviews, but I want to share with others to save their money and research an alternative resort. We arrived on Saturday evening, I paid extra for the VIP experience and butler. After we checked in they introduced us to Nicolas that said he was going to meet us for coffee the next morning to give us a tour of the facilities and bring us two welcome bags with two water bottles and two sun hats. We met him in the morning, no welcome bags, he didn’t want coffee or show us the facilities…he took us in an elevator and said just fill out this short survey and someone will come to meet you to give you a tour. Then we meet Luke who takes us to breakfast(keep in mind it’s all-inclusive) still no tour, back up the elevator and for the next 3 hours high pressure to join their vacation club…NOT how I envisioned spending my first day of vacation!!! From there was just a series of unfortunate events, our air conditioner broke, the lock on our sliding glass door broke, I tried several times to call the front desk and no one EVER answered the phone. Our butler did solve our problems, but if we didn’t have him…I believe there would not have been a resolution. Also, I used one of the community bathrooms and 4 out the 5 faucets were broken. All over the resort there is chipped paint on walls and mirrors corroded. Staff seems annoyed and unattentive. Several times at the no reservation needed buffet we couldn’t find anyone to get us water, silverware or salt/pepper. You need reservations for the ‘specialty’ restaurants and even with a butler it was challenging to get a reservation. On New Years Eve we actually got a reservation at the Steakhouse and gave us a nice table…within minutes a waiter trip and an entire bottle of red wine exploded at our feet. That was definitely an accident, however, they handled the situation very poorly. They barely apologized, handed us some paper napkins and tried giving us a crappy table in the corner. There’s more, but I think you get the gist…spend your money elsewhere…this resort is the definition of lipstick on a PIG
Poor value and inconsistent service

We stayed at this hotel as a large group of 19 people for New Year’s Eve, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. Several rooms had issues: some had unpleasant smells, others had leaks, and some were extremely noisy. Overall, the property feels old and poorly maintained, which really affected our stay. The service was inconsistent. While a few staff members were genuinely kind and helpful, most were not very welcoming and didn’t offer much assistance when problems were raised. We paid extra for the “preferred” option, but it was absolutely not worth the additional cost. The food was also very average and did not meet expectations for a New Year’s stay. However, the sister resort, The All Suites, seemed better. As preferred guests, we were able to use their bars and buffet options, which were noticeably superior. Overall, this was not the experience we were hoping for, especially for a special occasion. I would not return to this hotel and would not recommend it.
Very relaxing

Lovely hotel clean. Didn’t change sheets the 10days we were there. Entertainment could be improved. Plenty of beds available and staff very friendly. Food plentiful and really good.
Honnest review.. Not worth it !

We are a family of three with an 11-year-old child. Unfortunately, this small hotel has great potential but greatly disappointed us. The lobby is large and chic, and the pools are beautiful and spacious, but you have to get up around 6:30–7:00 a.m. to put down your towels because there aren’t enough lounge chairs. Many of the chairs are broken or damaged. The beach is nice; there were seaweed when we arrived, but it cleared up afterward. However, it’s not the same as the sea in Cuba. Overall, the place is generally clean. We had a garden-side swim-out room in Building 3. Starting at 7:00 a.m., you can constantly hear staff passing by with their carts. The room was decent but lacks a bit of care; overall it was okay. The towels and pillows were old and dirty. The water park is nice for kids, but you go around it quickly. The Wi-Fi is slow. The food is AWFUL, especially at the buffet. There were some acceptable options such as homemade pizza, pasta, cold cuts, fruit, and a salad bar, but the rest was not fresh or very good. The restaurants—especially the Italian—were disgusting to the point that we waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to receive undercooked pasta. The sushi was okay, the steakhouse average, and the Mediterranean restaurant so-so. On the positive side, the restaurant staff are welcoming and kind. They made a nice gesture for my daughter’s birthday. The white and red wine had no taste—cheap, low-quality wine. We had to go to the nearby village to buy wine at a convenience store. Cocktails are made with low-end alcohol, and you have to insist to get better alcohol (such as Preferred brands). The staff, especially at the buffet, are rude and uninterested, particularly the waitresses. However, the Christmas Eve buffet was good, although the seafood was overcooked. There is a coffee shop in the lobby for fresh coffee, but in the morning you’re greeted with unfriendly faces. There is a food truck on the beach across from the pool; it smells like grease all afternoon, and the meat is often undercooked. At the pool bars, the bartenders are generally nice. The entertainment was decent, but we don’t stay up very late. They tried to do a foam party one afternoon, but the machine barely threw foam more than three feet. The beach party was cool. Activities outside the hotel are scams—don’t go. Overall, I recommend going elsewhere; there are so many better hotels than this one. It lacks refinement. We are food lovers, so our expectations—especially regarding food and drinks—are high, but if you’re not picky, you may enjoy this hotel.
