This place is what it is. A resort with pools and a beach view. The place needs an upgrade. Bed is hard not enough pillows. The room service doesn't refill towels or coffee items. Forget trying to call someone they don't pick up and when they do no one comes. Food is not great. I was looking for authentic Dominican food but instead got large buffets of American food that was not good. Bring snacks because everything closes around 10 pm. We got two rooms one with a swim up pool great choice. We were able to walk away from the loud pool and chill. And one room on a second floor this room was great but had ac issues the whole five days .if you like to retire early try not to get a room near the main area. The music goes till about 11 pm which is fine for those who are into it but with me I like to retire early couldn't get to sleep bc the music was so loud. When I first got to my room there was water dripping from in front of the door when trying to get back in my room the first time the keys didn't work and got dirty water dropped on me. It was fixed right away. The staff are friendly and nice. Stephanie from entertainment is amazing. Entertainment area is fun and the staff who works the entertainment seems to love their jobs and it's nice to see. This place probably when it first opened was great and beautiful but now old and in great need of an upgrade. They have a ton of people who push the tours even when you say not thank you keep pushing. Spa is nice. The crew that maintenance the landscaping are doing a wonderful job For the money we spent we had a great time don't get me wrong great for family's that want to do something else beside amusement parks. But just know what you are getting.

Yesterday I had a very unpleasant situation. Namely, I asked about the option of an upgrade to the adult option and one of the employees Roberto precisely offered to arrange for us to enter the hotel for breakfast only for adults. He asked me to be there the next morning and he would take us there. However, it turned out that when I arrived with my wife at the meeting place he told me that we could not go there after all, he did not explain why, I felt embarrassed by this situation, it is absolutely unprofessional for such a situation to take place in a 5-star hotel. The hotel should have called us and apologized for the situation before the meeting. Up to this moment no one has responded and explained this situation, the hotel does not care about relations if it allows the lack of professionalism towards customers who have chosen this place for their vacation. I am still waiting for the solution to this embarrassing situation...

Our extended family visited with kids age 2-8. Highly recommend the room setup in the Luxury Master Suite for guests with children. Our kids loved the slides and pools. Can’t complain about those. It was a perfect setup for the young kids. The service could be improved - just seemed difficult to get anyone to assist - even with us tipping constantly throughout the day and each meal. It was also very difficult to get group dinner reservations and we always needed to split up. The food was fine but nothing to rave home about. I doubt we will return.

Deverly and Francis is the best entertainment! He makes everything fun and exciting! She is very fun and a breathe of fresh air. They made our honeymoon one to remember! The beach is great, the games, the food, etc. We LOVE Deverly and Francis!
