Great vacation

Went for a week with my son and his girlfriend. Had such a great time. The grounds were beautiful well kept lots of blooming flowers and everything so clean. I had a really great suite and the bed was really confrotable. We ate at the buffet most of the time which had lots of food selection and it was delicious. We did the Japanese (100%) great, the steak house 1000% great and the italian which was really disappointing. The food truck on the beach and the sports bar were our places to go for lunch and it was really good as well. The beach was so so in front of the hotel but just a few steps to the left was perfect! Didn't go to the pool once since all the chairs are taken at 6 am. That's a down point for me but didn't bother me. We're beach people anyhow. I'm a coffee lover and they have a coffee bar where they make awesome cappucinos!! Loved it. Entertainment was good enough for me. Don't get me wrong they made me dance and had a good time but it's not the real Dominican vibe i am used too. It was a perfect blend. Overall I'm planning to go back with my husband for sure. Needs a bit of love in some areas but honestly it's a great resort. With all that being said the staff needs to be more friendly. They all seem to be annoyed by tourists. That has to change.
Loved it

Place is super clean and everything you need is on site. Club, restaurants, pools, gym, entertainment!
Wanted to love. Cannot recommend

The good: Beach beautiful (some sea grass first two days - giant mounds that took a bit to clean up given the pace of the work - but after that clean and lovely). Spa was nice. Hotel rooms clean and modern. Hotel could use a reno- ocean air does damage - but not so bad that it detracted much. Resort generally clean. Baked goods and desserts were very good (which is pretty unusual at most resorts) and the coffee --- UNREAL. The not so good: For the most part -hotel staff were disengaged. Often we would get our own glassware/cutlery. Good luck getting towels. Food was only ok - buffet was actually better most days than the a la cartes - particularly avoid the Teppanyaki Restaurant - AWFUL. The bad: Elevator was broken off and on for 4 days- and despite me letting them know multiple times - and several times carrying down luggage for older folks -no one fixed it or put an Out Of Order sign on the doors. On the day we left my son was stuck in it for 30 minutes. Booked a "snorkeling adventure" on the hotel app- absolute waste of money. The awful: Son witnessed a death on the beach. There were no lifeguards in attendance - when they did show up (some 20 minutes into the incident) they didn't know how to use a defibrillator. Felt awful for the family. Disappointed that no one reached out to see if my son was ok after witnessing such a thing. We would love to come back to Punta Cana. We would not come back to this hotel.
One of the bad resorts

I got here on may 24 , 2026 the place is nasty . The retaurant have not A/C and there ks a lot of flies and shower is broken. Please don’t come over here. I asked for the General Manager who is not available to talk to you. The people who take your concerns said to me because it is a caribean contey happen that flies are sitting in your plate. I am not the only person who submitted a complaint about rhis and itblool like they don’t care. I am trying to add some videos but It doesnt let me do it
Terrible

A terrible experience. The hygiene standards were awful, the staff was rude, and most importantly, your belongings in the room are not safe at all — when I returned to my room, the doors were left open. When I called the front desk, they transferred me to the manager, but nobody answered. I would not recommend this resort to anyone. And yes, the beach is terrible too — full of seaweed, and every morning starts not with an ocean view, but with the sound and sight of a tractor cleaning the beach. And it goes on all day long. Also, if you’re hoping to simply relax on the beach, forget it. You’ll constantly be bothered by people trying to sell excursions, massages, or loudly talking around you. It feels like nobody cares that guests may just want some peace and quiet to relax.
