NOT FOR MOM WITH INFANT. TERRIBLE . NOONE IN CHARGE

BlueBay Grand Esmeralda – NOT SUITABLE for families with infants We are currently staying at this resort, and THIS IS TERRIBLE!!!!??. We are honestly desperate. I am not sleeping, I am not eating, I am constantly hungry, and we do not know what to do anymore. Traveling with an infant here has turned into ongoing stress instead of rest.. This hotel is not family-friendly if you are traveling with a baby and planning to spend time in your room. ??Food restrictions: THE MAIN ISSUE FOR ME AS A MOTHER OF THE INFANT Guests are not allowed to take food out from the buffet . My husband was explicitly stopped from bringing food to me, even though we explained I stay in the room with our infant. Instead, we were told that the only option is room service for an additional $5 USD fee PER ORDER, even though my husband could easily bring the food himself. This policy is rigid, inconvenient, and completely unfriendly to families with babies ??Room service & food availability: Room service menu is extremely limited. The snack bar is open only until 1:00 AM and offers pizza only — no fries, no other basic food options. After 1:00 AM there is NO FOOD available anywhere in the resort. As a breastfeeding mother, I often need food during the night, and in this hotel there is literally nowhere to get it: buffet — not allowed bars — no food snack bar — closed after 1:00 AM room service — very limited menu and slow WE TRIED TO TALK TO THE RECEPTION, TO THE CONCIERGE, TO WESTJET and noone could help us or make a simple exception.. ??Baby crib issue: We requested a baby crib three times. Each time we were told “it will be delivered shortly,” but it never arrived. No follow-up, no solution. ??Room & service problems: There were constant small but exhausting issues every single day: - Water was not delivered on some days - Today room was not cleaned - Sink was clogged and never fixed - I called room service and was put on hold for 30 minutes — no one ever came back to the call Overall: Too many basic service failures. Poor communication, no flexibility, no consideration for families with infants. The resort may look fine on photos, but the actual experience is stressful and disappointing. Being forced to pay $5 per room service order just to get food to a breastfeeding mother is unacceptable. I would not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel to parents traveling with babies.
