Had a exalted time the shows were also great and staff was extremely nice. Was a long walk to the beach from my room but needed the walk after all the food we ate. The French restaurant was extra tasty! Went after Thanksgiving. Not too many people from USA but so many from Canada.

I recently visited the Blue Bay for the second time and once again had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. I couldn't really fault my stay. The beach at the resort is good, though there were some days where the water wasn't as clear as I would have liked. Of course, the hotel can't control the tides. My only criticism would be that there could be more sun loungers available for guests. When it comes to food, the Blue Bay really shines. The buffets always had a great variety of options and the restaurants on the property were top-notch. The desserts were especially delicious. And I can't forget to mention the drinks - the mango tango cocktail is a must-try. Despite some negative reviews I had read prior to my stay, I found plenty of positives to take away from my time at the resort. If you go in with realistic expectations, you'll likely be pleasantly surprised at how nice it actually is, especially considering the reasonable price. The on-site shop is a bit pricey, but it's convenient for picking up essentials. If you're looking for more options, the hotel offers a shuttle to Playa for a nominal fee per person. As for the rooms, they were comfortable enough. The furniture was a bit dated, but honestly, who goes on holiday to spend all their time in their room? Overall, I had a great stay at the Blue Bay and would definitely consider returning in the future.
