Account Linking
To link their WestJet Rewards Account and Skip Account, a participant must:
- Be a WestJet Rewards member with an account in good standing (a “WestJet Rewards Account”)
- Have a Skip account in good standing (a “Skip Account”)
- Complete the account linking process through their WestJet Rewards Account or Skip Account (“Account Linking” and each participant who links their account, a “Linked Member”)
Each WestJet Rewards Account may only be linked to one Skip Account, and each Skip Account may only be linked to one WestJet Rewards Account.
Please note that following Account Linking, the Skip session may remain active in the background, and the member may continue to be logged into their Skip account for a limited period of time.
Welcome bonus
Each Linked Member will receive the following benefits (“Welcome Bonus”) within 15 days of Account Linking:
- 500 WestJet points
- Issued directly to Linked Member’s WestJet Rewards Account
- Voucher for a 6-month free trial of Skip+ (“Skip+ Voucher”)
- Issued by email to the email address associated with Linked Member’s Skip Account
- Please note that if a Skip Account is already linked with CIBC, the Linked Member will not be able to redeem the Skip+ Voucher
Each Linked Member is eligible to receive a maximum of one (1) Welcome Bonus, regardless of the number of WestJet Rewards Accounts or Skip Accounts held, created, or subsequently linked by the Linked Member.
Earn
Linked Members will have the opportunity to earn WestJet points (“Points Earned”) on eligible Skip orders (each, an “Eligible Order”). WestJet points can only be earned on Eligible Orders. An Eligible Order will be identified with the WestJet name and logo within the Skip app.
It may take up to six (6) hours for Points Earned to appear in a Linked Member’s WestJet Rewards Account.
Linked Members may de-link their WestJet Rewards Account and Skip Account at any time. Upon de-linking, members will no longer be eligible to earn or redeem WestJet points on Skip.
Redeem
Linked Members may redeem WestJet points for Skip Credits through the WestJet Rewards portal at the following rate:

Once selected by a Linked Member on the WestJet Rewards portal, Skip Credits will be applied to the Linked Member’s Skip Account within two (2) hours and will automatically be applied to the Linked Member’s next Skip order(s).
Restrictions
- To use Skip Credits, your Skip account must be in good standing and must not have been identified by Skip as fraudulent, suspended, restricted, or otherwise barred from using credits.
- Skip Credits have no cash value, are non-refundable, and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
- Once a WestJet points redemption is submitted, it cannot be reversed, cancelled, or converted back into WestJet points.
General Terms / Disclaimers
Linked Members authorize WestJet and Skip to collect, use, share and exchange relevant personal and account information between the Linked Member’s WestJet Rewards Account and Skip Account as reasonably necessary to operate and deliver the shared program, provide related services, and improve the member experience. This authorization remains in effect until the Linked Member: (i) de-links their WestJet Rewards Account and Skip Account; or (ii) provides written notice withdrawing consent, subject to any information sharing that is required to complete transactions or comply with applicable laws.
WestJet and Skip reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to: (i) change the Welcome Bonus, earn rate or redemption rate; (ii) impose or change limits on earning or redemption; or (iii) suspend or terminate the loyalty program partnership between WestJet and Skip.
All terms and conditions of the WestJet Rewards Program continue to apply. All Skip terms of service and Skip+ conditions continue to apply. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions shall govern with respect to the earning of WestJet points on Skip.
