Hiking
Denver’s extensive and gorgeous trails and parks vary from difficult hikes and bike trails to stroller and wheelchair friendly places to picnic and enjoy the day.
Skiing
Amtrak Winter Park Express Ski Train First thing in the morning, you’ll be taken from Union Station to the base of Winter Park Resort and enjoy 360-degree mountain views along the way. You’re dropped off 100ft from skiing and mountain activities. The best part is that you can return to your Denver lodgings that evening.
Prices vary throughout the season, but die-hard Colorado skiers know that you can buy discount lift tickets for most ski areas at King Soopers grocery stores.
Mountain biking
Winter Park boasts 965 km of single-track trails and two downhill park.
Golf
