Your destination
For vacations in Mexico and the Caribbean, sunshine, palm trees and continued safety await you. From when you land, through transit and upon arrival at your hotel or resort, measures for health, cleanliness and physical distance are in place.
Arrival at your destination
When you arrive at your destination, you can expect:
- A warm welcome by WestJet destination representatives
- A health screening before boarding the transfer vehicle
- 2m physical distancing among guests
Transportation to your hotel
When travelling from the airport to your hotel, you can expect:
- Reduced vehicle capacity to allow for physical distancing
- Mask use required in all shared transportation
- A clean and disinfected vehicle after each trip
Assistance at your hotel
As you arrive at your hotel, you can expect:
- Regular cleaning and disinfecting of all service areas
- 2m physical distancing among guests
- Representatives will be wearing face masks
- Welcome briefings will have limited capacity

Your accommodations
WestJet Vacations continues to work with our hotel partners throughout our network to ensure heightened cleaning and hygiene protocols have been implemented through the resort for a safe environment for all guests. To ensure physical distancing at your hotel or resort:
- You may find restrictions on the number of guests in public spaces, mask use may be required throughout the property.
- Pools, spas, fitness centres, kids clubs and sport facilities may be closed, have capacity limits or may require reservations.
- Restaurants and bars may be closed, have capacity limits or may require reservations. Room service availability may have changed.
- Additional facilities and amenities throughout the property may be closed or have altered operations.
- Mobile or online check-in may be required.
