Kauai Shores is my Kauai home… I travel to Kauai often for business and always stay here… they are so welcoming and the hotel is central to everything on Kauai!

I am on this beautiful island as a Red Cross shelter worker. I had the night shift for one of the evacuation shelters, this is home base. The staff has been amazing and as accommodating as possible during this time. It is easy to forget their homes are damaged and without power also due to their continued positive attitude, smiling faces and FANTASTIC customer service.

What made it for us was the staff, Ms. Novella, treated us like family from my 1st phone call with question about early check in to us arriving. Greeted us and talked to us everytime she saw us pass or in the lobby. Also Ms. Maria, she was the assigned staff for the rooms we were staying in. Right when we got to the room after requesting early check in, she was in the hall, she greeted us and we knew that we were going to be well taken care of. Even though hurricane Lowell caused issues with our stay. I cant wait to book them again.

My husband and I booked a week at this hotel for our honeymoon and it was amazing!!! We splurged on the ocean view room and waking up to the gorgeous view every morning was awesome. Our room was very clean and employees were so kind and welcoming. I loved that this hotel has ocean access and two pools. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the restaurant at the hotel Lava Lava Beach club and it was so beautiful. Every night we went for a walk to the beach and sat by the fire and enjoyed the stars. The hotel is at a convenient location on the island and very close to local shops, food, and grocery stores. We are already wondering how soon we can come back!

Cute property, lots to do. Like the complimentary Kauai Coffee and water bottles. The refill stations were nice. Juliet in Housekeeping was very helpful.
