Kauai High School 40th class reunion

The location of our 40th class reunion was essentially, the beautiful outrigger hotel was located centrally on the island with our classmates travel as far as wailua and Koloa. Atmosphere- once you step onto the property, you feel welcome. Parking for our event was ample and the instructions on how and where to park were spot on. As we walk into the building from the entrance closes to our designated ballroom we were so pleased with the finished renovation, beautifully designed with new carpets, fresh painted exteriors and more. Service- The ballroom was breathtaking, Immediately our classmates felt special and as the head of the reunion committee it made me feel proud of the venue I chose. Addie from the beautiful banquet room, the service was immaculately provided by your professional but personal staff. Banquet captain Nelson and Maribel as well as the other staff members (sorry couldn’t get all their names) were a pleasure to work with, they were pleasant and attentive, they went out of their way to provide our group with the best possible experience ever. One of our attendees came late after the buffet food was put away, the staff provided her a plate so she had something to eat! Wow! Food- as I did not get a chance to eat the meal, the comments from our group were very positive, “food was good” “good choices” “tasty” were the comments I heard. Great job Chefs! A special thanks to Tricheal, her professionalism in dealing with our group made us feel special and Important, even though our group was not a large group she made us all feel like we were VIPs. She responded quickly to questions and concerns, helped us with menu choices and was there through all the little details. Mahalo to Tricheal & the outrigger staff for making out 40th class reunion a success and an enjoyable one.

We love staying here and really enjoy Ramon our waiter at the restaurant. That man needs a raise as he is so nice and so professional at what he does. We love the new rooms also and just enjoy staying here when we are visiting Kauai. Thank you so much for- We love it here!??

Everything has been a pleasure. Guest services: Front desk, valet, custodial/janitorial, all employees have been very helpful and very welcoming. The Food: we’ve had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here on different days and all of the food has tasted amazing, great recommendations from the servers on all of the above. Amenities: we have utilized the pools, the beach, and the gym, 5 stars all around. Overall my experience has been above my standards, and I’m only on day 3 of my 4 night stay.
Not my cup of tea

If you like COUNTRY ?? music 24/7 this is your kind of place to stay. The quiet room is above the car valet/check-in area and many car alarms go off mostly morning and evening. The pools are great. Close to the airport. Extended our stay during the storm Lala plane cancellation and when our airline didn’t auto rebook the next available flight. The beds are super soft. If you don’t get back pain from that type of bed, you’re in luck. The food is ok, we didn’t starve. The fish sandwich is super dry. Little Fattys food truck in Kapaa has great fish, and other, tacos. Six days is more than enough. The Hilton Garden inn, where family stayed, has Hawaiian music playing. A salt pool. It’s older and doesn’t have windows that open except on the bottom floor, but it is significantly less expensive and has a Hawaiian charm/ambiance.
