Our buddies went on an outer island golf trip and this was THE PERFECT spot for us stay between rounds. Early morning and late night swims, plus a beautiful bar w unreal Pupu’s. One of my best friends talked while I was putting so I didn’t break 100 for the first time but staying here made up for it because it was just so nice and relaxing. Highly recommended for local families and friends who want a quick staycation on Kauai ????

Location is excellent. Pool and restaurant are really nice. Rooms are comfortable.

We went on a Golf Trip with Friends, although we didn’t spend much time at the hotel, we had a great experience at the Ocean House for Dinner. We also enjoyed the pools/jacuzzi before and after our golf. The New Lobby and room renovations were very nice and tasteful. Outrigger KBR is the best location in Kauai for convenience.

I booked and paid for a Garden View room, but our balcony overlooked a construction and storage area filled with shipping containers, equipment, dirt, tarps, and construction materials instead of the tropical garden view we expected. This was extremely disappointing for a resort in Hawaii. The problems didn’t end there. Construction activity continued during our stay, including a compressor running around midnight, making it difficult to sleep. I reported the noise, but nothing was done to address it. We also found a large cockroach in our room. While I understand insects can be present in tropical climates, it was still unpleasant to encounter one inside the room. When I initially raised concerns about the room, the only option offered was to move us down the hall, which would have had essentially the same view. After speaking with the manager, the only compensation provided was a $100 parking credit. While I appreciated the gesture, it did not make up for paying for a Garden View room that overlooked what looked like a construction and storage yard, nor did it address the nighttime construction noise. The front-line staff were friendly and courteous, but management’s response was disappointing. If you book a Garden View room, I strongly recommend asking exactly what your room overlooks before you arrive. Based on my experience, not all Garden View rooms provide the peaceful resort setting that guests reasonably expect.

I recently held a graduation party for my oldest child, and the entire team was amazing. Trichael made the planning process so easy and stress-free from start to finish. A special thank you to Nelson, the Banquet Manager, and his incredible team for making my party so beautiful. I shared my vision and layout with him, and he brought it to life even better than I imagined. I also truly appreciate Elmar, the cook, for preparing such delicious appetizers and entrées. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and the party turned out wonderful. Thank you all for helping make such a special day so memorable!
