The resort is located in a great location on the western coast of the island, and the beach was absolutely beautiful! The food was definitely one of the highlights of my stay, with plenty of great options to enjoy. The resort is clearly designed with relaxation in mind, and I truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. That said, I do think the nightlife and evening entertainment could be enhanced with a few simple additions, such as karaoke in the sports bar or even in the lobby area. The live band on my last night was definitely a keeper and added a great energy to the evening! The sales team, Selina and Jamie, were absolutely awesome and made a great impression. My butlers, Roshane and Chad, were also excellent. Their service and attention to detail really stood out and helped make my stay special. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend the resort to travelers looking for a beautiful setting, great food, and a relaxing getaway.

Even though this property just opened in June, I was definitely impressed. Everything is so beautiful. The interactive elevator art was my favorite art pieces. The beach was beautiful. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub staying open late!! You don’t get that many places. I didn’t have a bad meal!! Everything was really good. My butler staff Roshane and Chad were great. I received a “sonnet” each night. ?? They were responsive and attentive!! I can’t wait to return so I can experience a swim out suite next time.

Grt location & very friendly staff. Rooms were clean & tidy, thou house keeping was hit & miss - lack of towels, room not always made up. The air con also didn’t smell nice, but our butler Michael sorted that out temporarily - it needs to be fixed long term thou as seemed to be a common problem. Overall the hotel was clean, thou the corridors needed more attention, esp clearing up of room service & sweeping/mopping floors. Overall food was fairly good, but for this type of hotel, it needs to up a level or two. The steak & French restaurants food was nice, but service a bit slow & lacked atmosphere. Buffet had a good range, but food was often dried up. Pizzas weren’t good thou. Cdnt fault the drinks or bar staff, wd be nice to have a larger range of wine, which you didn’t have to pay an extortionate amt for. Daniel the mixologist on loan from cancun was amazing. Michael our butler was just grt - polite, helpful, always around to help - he’s a grt asset to the hotel. Evening entertainment was good - finished at 10pm but that was ok Water sports staff esp Reign were very helpful - enjoyed the snorkelling, sailing & water bike - all complimentary. Daytime activities/staff were very good - tie dying, candle making, mixology, painting - a nice break from the sun. Roof terrace lacked atmosphere, was always empty & the food stands weren’t that grt. Gym had a good selection of equipment & v helpful staff. Overall we had a lovely week, but there are still alot of areas which need improving. There were so many staff, but not sure all were trained up to standard.

Overall, Royalton Vessence Barbados is a beautiful resort with wonderful people, a great location, and a relaxing atmosphere. We had a memorable stay and would definitely consider returning.

I recently visited the property for 4 nights to celebrate my girlfriends birthday Being as she lives in Barbados & I have visited many times i thought I would try the resort Unfortunately I have very mixed thoughts on the resort When we got to our room which is of a good standard there was only 1 robe instead of 2 The TV didn't work The handheld steaming system for pressing your clothes is not fit for purpose We reported this problems A staff member visited the room Didn't know why the TV wasnt working Admitted that the steam machine was not fit for purpose So she then got an iron & ironing board for us to use Bought another robe & the TV worked the next day Those are little things but should be on point for a 5 star resort However most dissapointing was that during correspondance with Jorge Guerrero reservation agent via email I asked if he could put some flowers & chocolates in my room on arrival for my girlfriends birthday He agreed That never happened! If id have known I would have sorted that myself! Then on our last night we went to the Italian restaurant in the property The service was soooo bad Had to wait nearly 45 mins for a drink Then over an hour for a starter which when we recieved was stone cold! The main course was the same Shocking standard I then reported to the waitress Her response was well im the server! That isnt good enought It wasnt busy in the restaurant so no excuse The people on the next table was the same Poor service Cold food I reported this to reception that eve That was saturday the 3rd October We had to leave as it was sooo bad without any food that eve as we were meeting friends The receptionist that eve said she would look into it & get back to me That never happened These things shouldn't happen at a 5star resort! On the plus side The other restaurants we tried were great Good entertainment Great staff Great Location But im not sure il be returning after my experience
