Naia was the absolute perfect place to be over the holidays. We spent 6 nights in a 2 bedroom villa. The villa was spacious, very clean and perfectly located with views of the sea. We enjoyed both our own pool and the pool at the main building. We ate at 1981 Restaurant 3 times. The menu is expansive so we never had the same thing twice. Kenneth was our amazing waiter. Breakfast and lunch were also delicious at the pool bar. The entire resort campus was peaceful, manicured, and navigable.Staff at Naia was top notch. I wish I could remember everyone's names but all were amazing. We especially appreciated Marlon who was our driver and tour guide on several occasions. He was kind, patient and knowledgeable. We were impressed by his desire to become a better tour guide by studying birds, flora, history and tourism. Our teen daughter's favorite part of our stay was New Year's Eve in the bar where she had a blast singing karaoke. We hope to be back!!

Niai Resort was as beautiful as the pictures show and the front desk staff, Valerie and Chakera were helpful in every way, The beach is covered with gorgeous trees, Palm Trees and Seagrape Trees and all kinds of colorful flowers plus singing from the Grackle birds and melodious doves. If you are into gorgeous beaches, flowers and trees plus a wonderful place to stay and enjoy looking out your room onto the beach with swaying hammocks and brown pelicans bobbing in the Caribbean Sea, this is the place to come. As for the restaurant, the staff are friendly especially Vivian and Flor and the coconut banana French toast are to die for along with sliders, hamburgers and the 1981 Restaurant . The daily shuttle to The Village is fun and Rumfish has the tastiest chocolate mousse I’ve ever tasted and Wendy’s Creole restaurant has delicious Beluzean dishes and the chicken burrito with cheese and slaw was scrumptious.. check out Alicia at The Lionfish Jewelry store and Ashley at A Piece of Wood shop!! Placencia, Bze is a must see vacation spot.
