Sunbreeze was a perfect place to stay. It’s in a great location with many restaurants/bars/grocery a walkable distance. The front desk staff and the bartenders were a huge help with recommendations for local places to eat and explore. Reina at the front desk was always so kind and so helpful!!! The happy hour specials were awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was wonderful. Rather nondiscript from the street but once you pass thru the reception area, WOW, beautiful grounds and pool. Excellent and prompt service. The staff was always ready to help in any way. I would definately stay there again.

I often stay at the Ritz or Four Seasons or Marriott when we travel. Had doubts abt Sunbreeze when my husband booked the hotel. But Sunbreeze did not disappoint. Micaela is excellent!!! She was very attentive, very helpful- went above & beyond! She’s the best

Great spot for divers especially! Dive shop onsite and boat picks you up on the dock. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great restaurant onsite.

The SunBreeze is in the heart of San Pedro, literally across the street from the airport terminal. From the location you might think it would be noisy, but once you are inside the resort you don't hear any outside noise. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are large and clean. Not too fancy, but perfect if you are a diver with a lot of gear. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is large. One of the problems lately with many of the hotels along the beach is the accumulation of Sargasso seaweed (actually a problem everywhere in the Caribbean on eastward facing beaches). This makes many of the stretches of beach smell bad. For whatever reason, this is not a problem at SunBreeze. Pool and beach are nice, but the beach is not a swimming beach. The atmosphere is pretty chill. Not a party scene. However, the bar does get lively before dinner. Lots of people come to the bar and restaurant from neighboring hotels. The restaurant is very good and is right on the beach. Very few restaurants (only high-end) in San Pedro are better. If you are a SCUBA diver, Ambergris Divers is onsite. They are a great operation with good boats and attentive dive masters. Other than the day-long excursion dives (Blue Hole, etc.) all the dive sites are 5-10 min boat ride from dock. While we were not there at the busiest time of year, our boat usually had only 5-10 divers. For comparison, the neighboring Ramon's Village was sending out 25 divers per boat every day. If you want a luxury resort, you have to go outside San Pedro town. If you want to dive and want to never get in a car to be in town, this is perfect. I would certainly stay there again on a future trip.
