We love Grand Windsock. The staff is amazing,Marjorie always takes great care of us. We stay in the Villas. Our adult children usually stay in the penthouse apartments. It can be a little bit of a challenge with flights from New York. Jetblue used to have direct flights from JFK but they have been discontinued.

The location was excellent. Near the airport and Kralendijk. The atmosphere was goed. We were received most welcoming. When we checked out, we could leave our luggage in a locked room and enjoy the day on Banaire before the airplane leaves. We could also make use of the showers before leaving. That was all excellent. The apartment looked great on first inspecting it. Later we discovered that the airco in one of the rooms didn’t work. My son had airco for one night out of five. They tried to fix it, but alas. Also the apartment was a bit damp. Both showerdrains where clogged and the bathroom ventilation in one of the bathrooms didn’t work. The apartment was only cleaned ones every four days.

Everything was nice and clean, the villa with 2 bedrooms was spascious for everybody (3) to be comfortable. The location is good, close to beaches and the city. Enough restaurants close by. A good car is necessary to go Washington Park.

Grand Windsock Bonaire truly feels like my home away from home. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful accommodation, private pool, and friendly staff always make every stay special. It is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and feel completely comfortable. I always look forward to coming back.

Great location, pool, and the Clubhouse was awesome. Unfortunately the penthouse we stayed in was a bit disappointing. We ended up having a roach problem. I will say, they were diligent in getting pest control in to address it and were consistent with follow-up. It was just annoying to wake up to deal with the aftermath every morning. The Penthouse is a nice size but the quality of the fixtures should be addressed. We had a wobbly fan in the kitchen, and a broken sink handle that we had to keep putting back on. There is only AC in the bedrooms so just be aware of that. That cabinet materials were crumbing. Should probably be replaced with something a little more durable. Staff was really nice though. Wish I could rate it higher but I expected a little better.
