Grand Windsock Bonaire truly feels like my home away from home. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful accommodation, private pool, and friendly staff always make every stay special. It is the perfect place to relax, recharge, and feel completely comfortable. I always look forward to coming back.

Great location, pool, and the Clubhouse was awesome. Unfortunately the penthouse we stayed in was a bit disappointing. We ended up having a roach problem. I will say, they were diligent in getting pest control in to address it and were consistent with follow-up. It was just annoying to wake up to deal with the aftermath every morning. The Penthouse is a nice size but the quality of the fixtures should be addressed. We had a wobbly fan in the kitchen, and a broken sink handle that we had to keep putting back on. There is only AC in the bedrooms so just be aware of that. That cabinet materials were crumbing. Should probably be replaced with something a little more durable. Staff was really nice though. Wish I could rate it higher but I expected a little better.

Location is right beside the airport but there aren't many flights so it's not a noisy problem. We have a three bedroom which is quite spacious. Supplies are sparse, missing spoons and no washcloths (still waiting on those after 3 days) among other things. One shower doesn't drain and I've reported it three times still no one has come to fix it. Location is right on a very noisy road, we are Ocean view. This road is between us and the ocean so the patio is very noisy. Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms so the rest of the apartment stays fairly warm. They only clean the room on the 4th day although if you need something you can go get it. The office is the pool bar which seems strange but there's always someone there to help or someone to say they will help.

They need better communication as they only respond via WhatsApp. You wait for an answer only for them to reply after you’ve already figured something out. The property is nice and it was very spacious for our family of 4. The ocean club dining was easy and affordable. We dined there several times for breakfast and lunch while enjoying the view of the ocean.

Lovely resort. Beautiful interiors and furnishings. Fantastic outdoor dining, bar and lounge chair setting. Great food. Friendly staff. Ample and free parking. The reason I didn't rate the resort as 5 stars is because the balcony of the penthouse apartment I stayed in faced a busy road. The picture of the balcony on the resort website did not depict that at all and also made it seem as though the ocean were in closer view than it was a result. Because of the traffic noise, the balcony was not the peaceful sanctuary I expected. I did appreciate, however, that the balcony had sun shades that could be lowered to shield against the sun.
