Lovely resort. Beautiful interiors and furnishings. Fantastic outdoor dining, bar and lounge chair setting. Great food. Friendly staff. Ample and free parking. The reason I didn't rate the resort as 5 stars is because the balcony of the penthouse apartment I stayed in faced a busy road. The picture of the balcony on the resort website did not depict that at all and also made it seem as though the ocean were in closer view than it was a result. Because of the traffic noise, the balcony was not the peaceful sanctuary I expected. I did appreciate, however, that the balcony had sun shades that could be lowered to shield against the sun.

We had a very pleasant stay. We had a 6-person bungalow even though there were only 3 of us, so there was plenty of space! The bungalow was very beautiful and fully equipped. The location is also top-notch. If I may mention just one point for improvement, it would be the cleaning. It was done twice in 2 weeks. It’s a good thing we had an empty room so we could use the towels there, but after reusing the towels 4 times, it really isn't fresh. There was also a lot of chlorine in the pool; bikinis and swim trunk drawstrings turned completely yellow after just one use. Upon checking in, you received vouchers for drinks at the beach bar. However, when settling the bill, it turned out that the drinks we had chosen could not be redeemed (Cola Zero, for example, even though we had already indicated when ordering that we had vouchers. It would have been helpful if they had said immediately that they could only be exchanged for coffee/tea/juice). Otherwise, we had a very pleasant stay; I would book it again in a heartbeat if we were to go to Bonaire again!

I stay here at least one (long)weekend every year. Villas are really nice. A lot of space outside to relax. Had some trouble with the wifi this time.

Our family enjoyed a fantastic week long stay at the Grand Winsock; we rented one of the villas with a pool. Beautiful relaxing grounds and we were delighted with the variety of birds that came to visit. The villa was spacious and clean. Having the Wannadive dive shop on site was extremely convenient. We used the beach club across the street several times and enjoyed sunsets and a drink there several times. Everyone from the kids to grandma agreed we loved the Grand Windsock and would return.

Highly recommend!! We had a nice stay here. The rooms are nice, the ocean view appartment and the appartment with a yard were both great. They had all the necessary amenities like a coffeemaker, an electric kettle, a washing machine, an iron and board etc. The shared pool area is nice (but normal, so it's more of a chill than a party type of pool area). It's located close to the airport so easy to get there (but you deffinitely need a car) and once in a while you can hear or see the planes (which everyone who stays here seems to enjoy, especially when one of the larger planes such as KLM is departing). The parking lot is busy all the time but you'll always be able to find a spot. The staff was great and the price for the stay is pretty darn good as well. The family really enjoyed staying here!
