Our trip at Allegro was nothing short of amazing. The rooms are very private and the room service is amazing. The food is top notch and the specialty restaurant are delicious. Beach is super private with no boarding resorts. The best part about Allegro is the entertainment staff. Arbey is so kind and makes you feel like a best friend and don’t forget about Diego who is amazing at running the activities.
OK for a budget friendly scuba trip, but a little rough around the edges.

I found this hotel to be a good value with friendly staff, but the grounds and accommodations were lower quality than other all-inclusive resorts I’ve visited. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the beach and location were nice, and the pools, food, and on-site scuba operation were all decent. We also paid a discounted rate compared to similar resorts. The rooms were clean but below expectations. Second-floor rooms have thatched roofs with only a thin fabric layer underneath instead of a normal ceiling, so birds on the roof sounded like they were inside the room — even at 1:30 a.m. With little insulation, the loud A/C ran constantly and made a rhythmic grumbling noise throughout our stay, so we needed noise-canceling headphones to sleep. The linens were clean, but a couple pillows smelled stale. Our shower shampoo dispenser didn’t work, and during the last two days I developed very itchy bug bites on multiple areas of my body. The resort is also fairly small and partially unfinished, with an undeveloped section near the beach that our room overlooked. Overall, it worked well as a budget-friendly 4-night scuba trip with all-inclusive meals, but I wouldn’t choose it for a family vacation.
