We stayed at the Westin Cape coral for several days. The entrance was a bit tricky to find because you had to drive through a residential area. Someone was there to great us and help us unload as soon as we pulled up. Check in was quick. The lobby was beautiful and felt like home. One thing I wished the person who checked us in did was tell us all that the hotel had to offer. For instance the hotel offered a free water taxi to Ft Meyers beach and he never mentioned anything about it. The $40 resort fee covers it if you use it or not. We had a king room facing the river on the 7th floor. It was absolutely beautiful . It was very peaceful . I heard more animal noises from the water at night than I did people. The room was spotless. The bathroom was spacious and they provided 2 bathrobes. The bedding was amazing. I slept so well. They offer a small bottle of lavender to spritz the bedding to help with sleep. If you are traveling with kids and looking for a water park this isn’t for you. The resort was calm and relaxing. The pool area was very nice. They do offer private cabanas for an additional charge which I thought was useless . They weren’t that private plus the building provided enough shade. There were lots of shops/ restaurants within walking distance on the marina. Gathers restaurant offers brunch on the weekend and you can have it delivered to the room. Everything about our stay was amazing until the last day. The last morning I woke up to the loudest sounds . They were doing some type of construction work which started extremely early in the morning. Then as we were packing up there was a knock on the door. I go to check and there was no one there. Fifteen minutes later the housekeeper walking in unannounced. I guess she thought we had left even though it was hours before check out . Something else that I didn’t like was the day prior the housekeepers decided to congregate by our room door and talk. Our room was at the end of the hall not too far from service elevators so I guess they though it was ok to be there making noise. Other than that our stay was exceptional and I will defiantly go back to the resort

I’m writing on behalf of my brother bcz I recently heard the story of what happened regarding this hotel. My brother’s son, an active duty service member in the navy, got married Dec 2025. My brother gifted him and his new bride a night stay at the Westin Cape Coral the night of the wedding. He provided his Navy ID as well as his drivers license but was turned away since he was just shy of being 21. It was a mistake on my brother’s part for not realizing the rule but there was nothing mentioned in the email reservation sent to him. Renting a car it is always very clear in documentation that you need to be 25 so the trigger wasn’t there to alert my brother that checking in would be an issue. My brother asked for a refund or credit for a future stay when he would be 21 but was denied both. Upon hearing this, I emailed the hotel and asked that they consider comping a “ free”night since he leaves his Jacksonville base weekly to be with his new wife in Fort Myers and turned 21 in Jan. It is currently off season so I’m fairly certain there is plenty of occupancy. Rather than accommodating the request, the operations manager emailed back thanking him for his service but essentially the rules are the rules. Very disappointing as I have sent people to stay there when they are in town visiting my family. I will be looking for other options.

Stayed at this hotel probably during one of the quietest weeks of the year so the bar and restaurant did close earlier during the week which was a shame as it meant we didn’t eat or drink here in the evening as much as we would have liked. Not really got anything too negative to say about this hotel. The room view of the marina was incredible . We had a 2 bed suite on the 6th floor which was very spacious. Basically equipped but very clean modern and lots of storage space. The food in the restaurant was great. The staff can’t do enough for you. The way the hotel is run often reflects the skills of the Manager and in Omar they have a professional. All staff were fabulous from Cara and Omar on reception to Mark and Steven (who remembered our drinks and breakfast order each day ) in the restaurant (and everyone else we came across!) The cleaning staff work hard. The pool was peaceful with plenty of towels and chairs and a gym that had everything. Downtown Cape Coral with its many bars and restaurants is only 10 mins drive. Fort Myers with its beautiful beaches is a 20 min drive or the hotel provides a free return boat service to Fort Myers as part of your resort fees. Also included in your resort fee is a five nightly sunset dolphin tour which lasts around an hour and a half which we thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t wait to return

Our first stay and not our last . Sometimes you enter a hotel or establishment and the person who greets you makes you feel like you definitely picked the right spot. Omar is that person. He is that guy and deserves our praise. I’d tell him to keep it up but some people just have it. He is one of them. Thank you Omar !!

We stayed at the Westin Cape Coral at the end of June on a family vacation. Although the weather was extremely hot, we really enjoyed the resort, the marina area and thought the staff was very nice. We especially enjoyed the complementary dolphin cruise!
