Just returned from a disappointing day at the Western Cape Coral.

Just returned from the Westin Cape Coral What a disappointment. The positives were check in, the guys at the Valet, & the Thursday pool bartender. were great. Our room was 1718. If I had been told that the balcony on the 17th floor in the rear of the hotel was complete shade I would not have accepted that room. The balcony was cold and dark. This is not a resort for couples who are looking for a quiet vacation to relax. This resort is filled with families of 30 something's and children, or grandparents with their adult children and their children... To address our room... Our pillows were old and lumpy, & the beds need to be replaced. The carpet was old, dirty and borderline sticky... We had to wear our shoes in the room. The one bed smelled like URINE UGH! Totally unacceptable. We were there for a total of three nights and by night two we were both covered in bug bites. We were told by others it was Noseeums. Before we checked out I inspected the beds and unfortunately found bugs, both alive and dead. We were totally freaked out. We are people that do not like to cause a scene or complain but in hindsight, we should have. I did try to discuss these issues discreetly to the General Manager Chris Carhill (SP?) before posting a review. No response. I left him a Vm with my call back # 2 of the 3 times. The woman who answered the phone was patient and kind however asked me to hold all 3 times. She asked what it was in reference to so he clearly knew I had issue and wanted to speak to him directly. Very unprofessional to say the least. I hope to find a person at Marriott Corporate.

our vacation was excellent. from the staff to the accommodations every thing exceeded our expectations. Would stay here again
Disappointing Show

My husband and I had seen this act 4-5 years ago in Illinois and we enjoyed it very much. This time around we were very disappointed. Although Bill Medley’s voice was impressively strong there was too much talk and banter between Medley and Heard and not enough singing. Only 4 songs of the evening were RB songs. The previous concert included more in the revue. Our expectations were high; the reality a letdown.
We will be back again and again!

Beautiful location! Absolute nicest area in Cape Coral! Phenomenal waitstaff! Service was wonderful, food was great while we waited to start our Tiki Boat Tour! We will return again and again! BRAVO!

From the minute you hit the property you relax. I was here to stay in the area for business and travel all over the state staying at Marriott’s. The service, the staff, the room was fantastic.
