The BW (Best Western) Plus Kamloops is located in front of the city approaching IT from the main highway (west-east/east-west). Thus, very convenient to access. Lots of car park spaces available on-site, complimentary. I had a room with two double/twin beds as a single person and consequently, lots of space for myself. The gym is open till 10PM, opening at 6AM in the morning. Small but includes all vital equipment. Breakfast, starting as of 6.30AM was sufficient, for celiac concerned persons gluten free options are available upon request. Overall, a short but very pleasant stay!

We stopped off here for the night when doing a road trip. Location was handy for us, rooms were very spacious which was great. Room was clean, noise level was 0, the reception staff were good, amenities we needed for our quick stop off was there. I had to sign a form saying we had left no valuables in the car which wasn’t an issue as we didn’t but it was a odd thing for me to sign I thought. When checking out, we were able to grab a quick coffee and snack in the breakfast area which was much appreciated.

I had an awful stay at Best Western Plus Kamloops (Room 216, Sept 8–10, 2026). The moment we entered, the entire room and all the bedding were filled with a suffocating, unbearable stench of trapped stale sweat, body odor, and mildew. ?I asked for replacement pillowcases on night one and a full sheet change on night two, but the "fresh" bedding reeked EXACTLY the same. The smell filled the entire room. Because the bedding was so horribly smelly, none of the 3 guests in our room could bear to cover ourselves with the blankets for two nights, causing all 3 of us to fall sick with severe colds and respiratory infections after checking out. ?On check-out morning, the female manager inspected the room and acknowledged the stench, but arrogantly refused accountability. She claimed she worked there for 15 years, insisted that this stale sweat odor is their "normal standard scent," and absurdly blamed "Canadian environmental regulations" for the smell. ?Getting sick from an unhygienic, foul-smelling room at a 3.5-star hotel is completely unacceptable. I demand a thorough corporate investigation into this property’s hygiene standards and management conduct.

Stayed as a family of five (all over 20) in two adjoining rooms. Hotel was a little tired & shabby for a Best Western. Breakfast ok but basic (limited choice / disposable tableware). From the signeage they clearly have a problem with break-in’s to cars - we emptied ours so no problem. Good curry house across the road for dinner. Rooms have a coffee machine & microwave.

This trip was for my friend's surgery and this location provided easy access to the hospital. There's several restaurants in the area and a large breakfast room in the hotel with a wide variety of items for everyone's tastes. The staff were friendly and willing to answer all our questions especially Veronica who does an excellent job of manning the front desk. We've already made a reservation to stay here in November.
