Our first trip to Kona. We actually stayed in a short term rental at this property, so I cannot comment on the service of the Wyndham resort. But I can offer a reflection on the property itself. This location is about 1.8 miles from significant retail locations, so you are definitely going to want a car. But it is very quiet which is nice for relaxing. The facility is dated but seems to be in reasonably good shape. Public spaces are freshly painted and clean. The parking areas offered lots of space. It appears that the fountains that once ran down the center of the property are being redesigned. There are two pools- a family pool and a quiet pool for adults. There are grills at the family pool and seating. Apparently a little coffee shop is open there several mornings a week. There is also free mineral sunscreen. Even though we aren’t patrons, the folks at the front desk were kind and helpful. The view of the sunset was gorgeous.

We stayed at Royal Sea Cliff Kona by OUTRIGGER for 7 nights and 8 days and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect — close to everything yet peaceful and relaxing. The condo was very clean when we arrived and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was outstanding — everyone from the front desk to the maintenance and landscaping teams was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. We truly appreciated how well the property was maintained and how welcoming the atmosphere felt. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kona.
