The room wasn’t what I requested. No upgrade was given even though they advertised it and one of the room was just small and comfortable

Amazing views from oceanfront suite. Amenities are good and well maintained rooms. Enjoyed time in the pool. Friendly staff make your stay comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aston Kona By The Sea in June 2024. We only stayed 3 nights, but it was still a refreshing vacation. They have large, beautiful balconies that let you look out over the water and watch the waves come crashing on shore, which was the best part. Spacious rooms, full kitchen, and air conditioning. The mattress was a bit soft, but still comfortable to sleep on. There is plenty of parking on site, if you choose to rent a car. We used Uber to get downtown to Kailua-Kona, which was a short, inexpensive ride. It's a pretty quiet resort and area, but there is a marketplace you can walk to (Ali'i Gardens Marketplace), which has a nice taco truck. Overall, very welcoming and relaxing place to stay that isn't too far from the action (and dining options).

Awesome experience at the Aston Kona by the Sea. This was our first trip to the Big Island and were all satisfied with our stay. Friendly staff.

What a tranquil setting! We loved our location, upstairs oceanview. Our room was stocked with everything we needed. Staff was super helpful. I would recommend going to the store and getting supplies as the mini mart nearby doesn't have much. Grills looked like they were taken care of and easy to use. I was surprised by how much we liked this place.
