Three weekends ago, Koloa Landing Resort was the location for my cousin's wedding ceremony, reception, and most of the family's hotel reservations were also booked here. The wedding ceremony was a Hawaiian Style outdoor event, and wedding reception was held inside the ballroom. Fabulous time with family and friends, lots of memories, excellent hotel staff, hotel room, and very beautiful hotel grounds. Me and my other half stayed 3 nights for this occasion, we both enjoyed our stay. Wedding Block Group Rate was offered if booking was at least a minimum of 3 nights and had to have been booked prior to April 27, 2024. Since this wedding affair was about a year in the making, I booked a King Room which included a Sofa bed with Island view and Balcony. This room was huge, not as huge as the bride and groom's room. But our room had a kitchenette and a washer/dryer. Upon check-in at the hotel, we immediately noticed how beautiful the hotel lobby looked, self parking, greener than green hotel grounds, and was told that they were voted Best Swimming Pool in America 4 Years in a Row! Once we got into our hotel room, I have to make sure water is running, lights are functioning, TV can turn on, air conditioning is cold, bed is made, towels are folded, closet is empty. Then I found a small box of chocolate macadamia nuts and bottles of water on the coffee table, nice touch. The whole entire stay was comfortable and relaxing as this was our first time staying at this hotel also attending a wedding at the same time. Checking out was simple and easy. Seems like will be staying here again in the future, we both got a nice impression of Koloa Landing Resorts. Pro's: - The layout of the rooms are clean and simple. Balcony overlooking either a garden with a partial view of the ocean. Bathroom fully furnished with extra towels. Extra toiletries, coffee maker, kitchenette, and other items can be easily obtained upon request. Excellent and knowledgeable hotel staff. The resort is centrally located in Poipu, and the driveway into the hotel is positively serene. Con's: - I honestly can't think of anything except the nearby beach isn't the safest beach to swim in, but the swimming pool definitely makes up for it with two water slides, cabanas, and restaurant on location. Pro Tip: Marriot Bonvoy points to accumulate from staying at this property.

We did a quick trip earlier this month (July 2024), 2 adults, 2 teens. Our condo was so big and nice. We were in 6-303 (Parrish Collection booking). Our view was the adult pool and a wee bit of ocean. It was so quiet and peaceful. The resort is big (as in sprawling… not too crowded). The onsite restaurant was okay. The flatbread pizza at the market were huge and delicious. We mostly ate off-site (Loved the Cabana Bar and Grill). We give this 5 stars. It’s not as luxurious as some places we’ve stayed in Maui, but the location and grounds and service were excellent. My only beef, and it’s not a big one, is that pools were pretty cold. The mains pools were just a tad cold, especially when the trade winds picked up. But the adult pool was frigid, like I’m not sure it was heated at all. But we had fun and enjoyed the pools.

Enjoyed the friendly professional helpful staff everywhere! Greatest pool ever. Lovely resort perfect for rest and relaxation. We came to Kauai to get our of the Arizona heat and the ocean breezes were wonderful. Quick walk to the ocean and lots of shades of green and blue.

Amazing experience from check in to check out. The staff is very friendly & goes above & beyond. The views from our room were beautiful, the room was just perfect! The hotel provides shuttles that drop off & pick up around the town or beach. There was live music by the pool restaurant. There is only one restaurant on cite with same menu everyday , it was great to have a kitchenette in the room. Overall we had an amazing experience. The amenities & pool are amazing. Pools are open until 10pm!! Gym is small but open 24hrs , morning yoga & hitt classes were also available . Only one suggestion the resort is big enough , there should be an adults only section by the main pools, or after certain hours of the day hot tubs should be adults only. Too many children jumping , splashing all over there place with no parents in sight.

One of the best places we have stayed at. Should be 4.5 stars due to the very minor problems: 1. The sofa bed was pretty noisy when anyone moved on it 2. The door that led to the balcony has a trippable lip on the inside of the room 3. The sensor for the television was hidden behind the caninet which made changing channels difficult. If we return to Kauai, we would definitely look into staying again because the service from the staff was courteous and very prompt. House keeping was very accomidating in coming back to clean the room or providing extra towels.
