We booked K Shores for location, reviews, and because a bit more reasonably priced than south shore. All staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great communication.Close to shops and eating. Restaurant on sight is a plus. The valet service was worth every dollar tip! Room was very nice, updated. Loved the grounds pool area. Beach was beautiful but water unswimable.

This was our second time staying here and we love this place!! We love lava lava beach club too and there’s a marketplace nearby with everything you could ever ask for!

Located on the Kapaa shore, Lava lava is the best restaurant experience. Watch the sunrise, eat breakfast, then take the bikes up the path to the old pineapple dump. Not a better morning. Plan any Kauai experience then return to your excellent room. Use one of the two pools or hot tub before dinner and live music on the beach. Finish the day with a drink on your lanai. The perfect day.

The staff were all friendly and accommodating. They gave great recommendations and made us feel at home. We have zero complaints. Everything was better than our expectations. Our room looked out to a courtyard with blooming Orchids and other blossoms. We had a nice large walk in shower, plenty of countertop space and a nice shelf area to hold our makeup and toiletries. The room was decorated nicely and the pillows were very comfortable. It was the perfect place for a quiet, simple and relaxing stay.

I was looking for a one night stay and saw this place online. When I noted that it is non-refundable, I called the hotel directly and asked if we could see a room in person to make sure it would work for us. After confirming, and being told that the room would be $307, we booked a Lyft from the airport and were there in about 20 minutes as promised. While standing in line at check-in for nearly 30 minutes, we noticed several customers complaining, one of who was not given the room they booked online. The young woman working the desk coldly informed her that there are no guarantees that you will get the room you book online. When it was finally our turn, the price for the room was $390. When I asked why the price changed, the woman simply said that was what her manager told her, and shrugged indifferently, despite us having wasted our time and money coming to see the room. The location is also poor with the beach being unused because the water is very rough. This has been the poorest lodging experience out of about ten places I have stayed.
