Love The Pasea - well mainly. Checked in here after checking out of the horrible horrible horrible Hyatt (#HusbandBrainFart) [see review]. Thanks to the amazing assets that are Presley and Rosa. Top top service from these two. [Only reason we are staying (ditto Hyatt review). They need a bonus / raise / promotion]. The Pasea is lovely, beautifully styled, great restaurant, super food (the Parker Rolls and butter candles are madness - order them and do carbs properly), sublime location (beach and Disney) however … … waiting staff in the restaurant are a bit hit-or-miss. The restaurant manager changed our server so snarky and sarky was out he. Awful. Like WOW. (Thanks fella for the free drinks - and FYI our Parker Rolls still ain’t here). #NoTip #Zero #Nada (and I love how being “busy” is deemed a good reason for ineptitude #DemandManagement). Oh My Gosh. The roof top bar is cool. Not uber cool, not ice ice baby cool. But cool enough. And then (agreeably a Friday night), it is stuffed with p1ssed locals and becomes a zoo. Not classy. In summary. Definitely visit. Definitely a great spot for California beach and Disney action. Do visit amazing coffee shop (people, products and amazing well curated merchandise). Deffo go to Lorea restaurant (avoid avoid avoid evil death-staring ginger-bearded server), maybe skip roof top bar and probably stay only a couple of nights. Off to LA area next …

Beautiful property with incredible views and amenities. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this property. It was a wonderful stay.

I really would come here again The bike rentals werr included with our stay which I did not know. They also held our luggage after checking out so we could go back to the beach and also grab dinner. Great resort

The Pasea Resort and Spa was the location where we hosted our daughter's wedding. The venue is smaller than the other oceanfront hotels in the area with 250 rooms. The hotel has a relaxed vibe but the service and attention to details are impeccable. Several guests, including myself stayed at the resort for the weekend. It was a memorable experience for all of us and many of our friends commented on the quality of the beds. The staff was friendly and helpful and the Sapphire ballroom and lawn was a beautiful space for our daughter's wedding reception.

There shouldn't be holes in furniture, stains on the floor, scuff marks on every wall, stained walls in the bathrooms. For what we paid a night, this was extremely unacceptable.
