Valet hires thieves!!
Trek509321 on Apr 21, 2026
Stayed at the Renaissance for three nights in March 2026. Left our car with valet the entire time. When our car was returned to us and we started down the highway we realized we had multiple items missing from the vehicle. Several of the stolen items were high-end sunglasses. We called the hotel and valet as soon as we noticed. We sent emails. We texted people. Weeks later we finally get a statement through email that theycannot cover any of the items because we didn't notice immediately when the car was brought to us. What a crock. Don't valet with their service. First of all $70 a night is ridiculous, second of all they have theives working for them and do not care at all about their customers! ??
Large, clean rooms in a prime location
UnderTravel (San Francisco, California) on Apr 17, 2026
The Renaissance is a large, well located property in Nashville. The rooms were of decent size and clean throughout, however the decor was slightly different with vibrant wallpaper. This could be updated to create a more modern, calming ambiance. Service was quick and efficient but not personable, but it a hotel this size that is to be expected. There were no ‘wow’ factors during my stay, and I did feel the price to be high compared to other options in the area that offered an elevated experience.
Great Club lounge, but bad elevators

Stayed here for 4 nights in mid April on business. Marriott Bonvoy Platinum (Hilton Diamond). Selected this hotel due to it being part of the Bonvoy program, the proximity to the convention center, and a decent meeting room rate. Was upgraded from a 2 queen to a deluxe 1 King. Positives: -Check in was easy. Took no time at all. The front desk clerk provided me with information about the hotel and surrounding neighborhood. -Hotel location was a positive. Was located close to Broadway (bars, live music), Bridgestone Arena and the convention center. Also very close to the Cumberland Greenway - nice sidewalk area thats perfect for a morning run. And it was a short 15 minutes uber to BNA. Very easy. -Was upgraded to a 1 Kind deluxe from a standard 2 queen. View from my room was good - overlooked the arena and convention center on a higher floor. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the HVAC in the room kept it nice and cool. -The hotel had an adequate fitness room with an indoor pool attached. Pool was a little small, but ok for some short laps and there was a nice courtyard just outside past the pool with chairs to sit, read, and relax in. -The little fib lobby lounge/restaurant was very good. Service was also strong - ate lunch here 2 days and the bartender was funny and engaging. -The overwhelming highlight of the hotel was the Club Lounge on the 3rd floor. This was easily the NICEST club lounge I have ever visited in any hotel property. 1st, it was incredibly clean. It felt like it was recently renovated too. The lounge staff were always walking around cleaning. 2nd, the staff were excellent. Very attentive and friendly without being intrusive. If you had a request, they took care of it for you. 3rd, the lounge was pretty large with plenty of seating - booths, counters, larger tables, etc. Whatever you wanted. 4th, the food options were excellent. Breakfast was a great display of fruit, yogurts, eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal and cereals. It may sound like standard breakfast fare, but it was executed flawlessly. In the evening, they would have a variety of hot and cold apps. Everything was displayed nicely and with a good selection of options. Then later in the evening, they would put out a spread of desserts. usually some cakes and/or cookies. Beverages were also always available - water, sodas, juices (alcohol available for a price). Negatives: -Elevator situation in the hotel was terrible. There are 5 elevators but maybe 2-3 of them are ever working. Being on a higher floor was nice for the view, but getting to the lobby took way too long - making stops at what felt like every floor. This was really the ‘local train’. One day, it took 15 minutes combined of waiting for the elevator and getting to the lobby. May seem like a nitpick, but it was a frequent occurrence. It should only take 1-2 minutes max. -the bathroom amenities are not good. The Kevin Murphy brand has an off smell to it. Bring back the aveda rosemary mint line of products. Those were so much better. I would definitely stay at this hotel again purely for the Club Lounge. It was difference maker for certain that separates it from other hotels. Fix the elevator issue (and maybe update the toiletries) and this review is 5 stars.
Great hotel!!!

Everything about this hotel was amazing. Greatest location to downtown Nashville. Breakfast at the restaurant and the Starbucks was really good. Wish I could get the sandwiches from this Starbucks at every Starbucks. The atmosphere is really good. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The elevators were not even a problem. Normally you are waiting forever for an elevator and longer during the peak times. The wait for an elevator at this Marriot was not an issue at all considering the place was packed. Beds were very comfortable. Pillows were great. Room was cold enough. I like a really cold room and this one cooled off enough for me to sleep comfortably. I really don't think there was anything negative about my stay. I was there for 2 nights in April.
The Little Fib great food

Ate at The Little Fib for lunch. Aubrey welcomed us right up to the bar. We ordered the Cobb Salad. It was delicious. Highly recommend!
