Good conference experience
Greataunt (Philadelphia) on Aug 28, 2024
I attended a conference here in April. The hotel is well located and the rooms are extremely well-appointed and comfortable. Each staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. The meals provided as part of our meeting were excellent. Far superior to a Ritz Carlton location for last year's conference. One drawback is that the hotel was crowded which meant that there were lines to use the elevator. On a personal trip, I might select a less bustling spot but it worked quite well for business.
Would return, recommended…

Amazing stay. Clean, friendly, classy. Beautiful hotel in a great location, TV had an issue and staff came within 15 minutes to assist. Found an AAA deal for free breakfast after we booked. Be sure to look for codes online for perks like this.

We were warmly greeted and upgraded to a suite. That was a great surprise! We went to the concierge lounge to check it out and were greeted by Chef Danny. He takes great pride in his job. He said we have to come back for happy hour and try his hot honey chicken wings -hot and extra hot- his special recipe. We returned for happy hour and chef Danny was visiting with the guests and asked if we were ready to try his chicken wings. They were delicious! He made each guest feel special and is a real asset to the hotel! The other food at the happy hour was very satisfying as well as breakfast the next morning!

Check-in was easy and quick, Ham has pleasant personality, helpful and smiling all the time. Room with a city view it’s great during day at night . Towels, soap, iron, etc usual things in hotel room. Buffet $35.12 with taxes. Make sure you mention that before charge it to your room. Use the $25 destination Fee and you’ll pay the rest. Food selections scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon , biscuit , dessert , fruits. Omelette station by Chef Joy! Good The Bridge Bar, good selections from beer, whiskeys, vodka and mixed drinks. Ordered Old fashioned with buffalo trace! Last minute call for the food, so ended up ordering Salted Caramel chicken wings! It was so tasty and crunchy, I can taste the caramel , crunchiness, and salty at the end. Really good! I saw Chef Danny, I said what is this chicken wings? It is damn really good! Is it a Tennessee thing? He said no, it was his recipe from scratch! Thank you chef Danny! Good hotel and easy access to broadway and food hall!
Can’t believe internet has to be paid for

Although the location is very good I am amazed that after paying about $400 a night I still had to pay $15 a day for internet connection ! For a hotel of this class that is disgusting. I have stayed in much cheaper hotels and pubs and still got Wi-Fi free. Even MacDonalds gives free Wi-Fi! Bad show, Renaissance.
