Nice hotel slightly away from the craziness on Broadway

HighclereC (Toronto, Canada) on May 26, 2024

My partner and I came here for 4 nights and it was very good Our room on the 15 th floor was extremely quiet As ambassador elite Marriott members we had access to a 3rd floor lounge for complimentary breakfast and coffee at any time of day The only thing lacking was a rooftop pool area to hang out We did try the indoor pool It was ok but not really a relaxing atmosphere The outdoor area off the pool was closed It didn’t really look that nice anyway

Great location isn’t enough

Brend482 (Arlington, Virginia) on May 25, 2024

The Renaissance is steps from the heart of Broadway in Nashville; an unbeatable location. It’s a very large property with a cool “bridge” bar over Commerce Street. But while the public areas are modern, the rooms are dated and shabby, especially the bathrooms. The mirror in my bathroom had some stains on it. The amenities are also substandard for a high-profile property. There’s a decent-sized, though old pool, but the fitness room is very small. The location might be sufficient to overlook some of these things in a discount hotel, but the prices at the Renaissance are luxury prices and it’s not a luxury hotel.
