Good hotel, but was lied to about amenities

hape2bmome (Somerset, Kentucky) on Jun 23, 2021

Booked Exec Suite w/ Club Lounge Access 3 nights based on guarantee lounge was open. Lounge closed all along. Asked for free parking or other compensation, but only give bonus points & haven't seen. Rooms ok but pricey. Breakfast good.

Great location, service, and value in Nashville!

jguidojr (Bartlett) on Jun 22, 2021

I’ve stayed at the Renaissance in Nashville a few years ago and it was very nice. I was extremely pleased to see all of the enhancements they made to the lobby area as well as the restaurants. The room was upgraded and modern. The staff was extremely helpful and I felt like I was staying at a five-star Resort. I would definitely recommend the renaissance in Nashville as a place for? couples or families?

May not have been a good fit for us

adventuretravelernc (Raleigh, North Carolina) on Jun 05, 2021

This review is difficult to write because I really wanted to like this hotel. The staff were awesome. I'll repeat... the staff were awesome. We had an event to attend the next morning and would then hit the road. My expectation was a nice quiet stay. My mistake was booking a downtown hotel on a weekend night. It was anything but quiet. The hotel lobby was busy and sadly there were more than a few inebriated guests including one that had to be assisted into the elevator. The elevators were consistently full (both at night and in the morning). Despite having 5 elevators, there were prolonged waits. It was so bad, that we ended up taking the stairs (thankfully we were on a low floor) Our initial room was smoky and thankfully we were able to change to a different room. Parking choices are valet or the parking garage. The nice thing about the self-park garage is that it is connected to the hotel via a skywalk. I found out later that downtown Nashville is famous for being rowdy on the weekends. I really wanted to like this hotel. We've stayed at sold out hotels before and never had issues before, so I can't figure this out. The hotel is convenient to all of downtown Nashville, but perhaps we would have a better experience avoiding the weekends?

Verlisa and aretha

We came to Nashville for our birthday weekend and we’re so thankful for all the help we received from our favorite front desk girls verlisa and Aretha. They were knowledgeable and so incredibly sweet. Even when greeting them so late in the night they gave us the utmost service.

Great Hotel Overall!

reinergirl (Auburn, CA) on May 30, 2021

We just stayed for 4 nights at the Renaissance Hotel and cant say enough about the location and friendliness of the hotel staff. From check in to check out we were greeted warmly and attentively. The rooms were very nice, beds comfortable with plenty of pillows. Our only gripe is that there is no coffee fixings even though there is a coffee maker tucked away in the cupboard and that we never had our room cleaned. We would definitely stay here again though.
