The extra mile

Our family has stayed here 4 times and it’s one of my favorites because of the location and the pools. One thing I don’t like is that the hotel is so big that it feels like you walk miles to get to your room. The rooms are nice and clean and cozy. The main pool is the best and is warm. They have movies under the stars, which is way fun. I love their food court and store on site. One of my favorites is that it is close to the gondolas to get to Epcot or MGM as well as the buses to get to Epcot or MGM, magic kingdom or animal kingdom. My kids talk about this hotel all the time and can’t wait to go back. Last time they had games that the kids were playing by the pool. Also, we had taken my dad who has Alzheimer’s and he took off and they helped us find him. The rest of our trip they kept checking on us and gave us great customer service. We were so grateful for everything.
Highly Recommend This Resort!

This is our second time staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and we love it! It feels like you are on a tropical vacation when you walk the grounds and everything is very well kept and every worker we dealt with was helpful and friendly. There is a good cafeteria there and a gift shop as well and the pool area is really fun too. The only knock on this place is there are over 2,000 guest rooms and just one 12-person hot tub. Each section of the resort has it's own pool area and there is a main pool area too but just the one hot tub. This was where many people were hanging out as it was cooler during our stay. I wish they would make a bigger one in the main pool area and put one in each of the section's pool areas as well. The great part too of this hotel is it's convenient for getting on the Skyliner or catching a bus to the parks. We stayed in the Jamaica section and it was just a short walk to the Skyliner main hub to go to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The bus stop was right there too so it was convenient! We explored Pop Century, Art of Animation, and Riviera as well but the feel at Caribbean Beach is the best!

We just returned from a 5 night stay at this resort. At first glance it looks clean and landscaping is attractive. Our room in Jamaica was very basic, small with the tiniest bathroom. The lock wasn’t working on the door and there were spilled coffee stains on some walls near the main door. The a/c is a noisy box under the window which cycles on and off making for a restless nights sleep. Also our building (44) was under the skyliner which gets going an hour before parks open and stops an hour after closing. I had requested a different building based on reviews but as always they can’t promise location and we needed to wait till checking in. We didn’t get a chance to use the pools as we had a tight park schedule but they looked nice. The cafe was very handy albeit understaffed but food was decent. To round up, this resort is convenient for using skyliner to Epcot and Hollywood Studios but needs a much needed update on the rooms.
Very nice property, easy access to the Skyliner, and offered early access to the park.

We stayed here for four nights. The check-in process was great and the staff was very friendly and well informed. They took extra time to make sure we knew about our different options, how the wristbands worked and answered any questions we had. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained, the restaurants and stores were very good, and the room was large and located only a five minute walk from the Skyliner to Epcot. We took the Skyliner to Epcot the first day, then the bus to Animal Kingdom the morning of the second day and then back to Epcot via bus, and on the third day we took the bus to the Magic Kingdom and again back to Epcot late afternoon. The Skyliner is very convenient, with either short-lines or long lines that moved very quickly (especially at the end of the evening’s light show where hundreds of people are heading home at the same time), and the buses were frequent and well run – we never waited more than ten minutes for a ride. This was crucial since we wanted to make use of the early access which necessitated getting up early which would have been wasted if we were waiting for a bus. We ate at Sebastian’s Bistro one night where the spice necklace salad was delicious as was the oven-roasted chicken with tamarind bbq sauce, and the mojo pork with mango sambal. The staff was very friendly and explained what we were getting for our taste of the Caribbean menu for $39. We bought breakfast stuff at the resort store to eat in our room – cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The bellhops picked up our luggage and stored if for a couple hours on our last day so we could see more of the park before our ride to the airport – very friendly and efficient.
Gets Better With Every Visit!

We have stayed at this hotel three times now and have enjoyed it more and more with each visit. Had a 5th sleeper room the the Trinidad section and was our favorite yet. We enjoy all the food and beverages at this place. Joffrey's at the Skyliner is always great. And, walking to the Skyliner is delightful and a great way to either get you pumped for a day at the parks or wind down from a full day there. Definitely recommend and we love staying here. Yes, you pay Disney prices and yes - it's not fancy - but it's fun!
