Great Experience

We absolutely loved this hotel, and we even went when Stormalong was closed. Rooms were a good size and clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff were nice and helpful. Good food options, and it was wonderful getting to walk to Epcot. Highly recommend!
Bad management, rude employees

Checked in on April 1, 2025 to take a nap while visiting Epcot. Checked in at 3pm and at 5pm a fire alarm went off. Within a minute there was an employee banging on our door telling us to get out. He woke us up and started yelling at us. I asked if smoke or fire had been seen and he said no. I said every major hotel chain in the country tells guests to stand by during a fire alarm until smoke or fire is seen. He said he was told by management to force everyone out of the rooms. So we are running down the stairs without our shoes. We end up waiting about 30 minutes outside in the hot sun. We almost needed medical attention. I am absolutely shocked at the poor decision making of management. Its unthinkable that a major hotel corporation does not know how to handle a fire alarm. It turns out that there was no fire, and no one pulled the alarm, which means it was a maintenance issue. I went to the front desk to ask if they give credit or compensation for our disruption that was caused by their lack of maintenance. The front desk said, "we do not give compensation for maintenance issues." I will most likely be disputing my credit card for this disaster that Disney created.
Good Hotel but Major Noise Issues for our Stay.

Overall the hotel is good and I would recommend staying on the club lounge floor, as the buffet there saved us last night when we couldn't get a dinner res anywhere -- but be warned to choose your room carefully because we had noise issues each night.. Our first night we were in a room surrounding the pool and kids were screaming out there until 11PM. We had to move rooms for night two and at 530AM we were woken by what appeared to be a marathon outside our window with people screaming and cheering right until 7AM. Needless to say we spent our Disney weekend extremely tired.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.... Amazing

Loved this hotel the location is just amazing - walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios - skyliner is nearby and b Boardwalk is just a friendly boat ride away. Only con to this hotel is lack of outdoor seating for quick service and the QS is limited - that said there's plenty other venues and hotels around to choose from. Rooms are lovely beds super comfy lovely bedding and towels. coffee machine in room and TV with good channel selection Tip avoid run Disney events as it is packed and can be too much
Great location for Epcot and Hollywood Studios

Our family of 5 stayed in two adjoining rooms. Positives: We had a great view of the "quiet pool" and the lake from our balconies. The grounds crew does an excellent job. The rooms were up-to-date. The Disney Cast Members were all very friendly and helpful. We spoke to Cast Members from various departments and they were all nice. The resort is VERY close to Epcot and a 20-25 minutes walk to Hollywood Studios (or take the nearby Skyliner). It's great to be this close to two theme parks. You can eat and drink at all the restaurants in Epcot and take the short walk back. We HATE the Disney buses and used Uber or Lyft to get around to the other parks. Negatives: Very limited menu at the quick service restaurants at Beach Club and nearby Yacht Club resort. At least half of the electrical outlets in our rooms did not function and the fan in one of the bathrooms didn't work either (steamed up really bad during showers). Also, we had to stop walking on the walking path to Hollywood Studios near the back of Boardwalk area (near Boardwalk, Swan, Yacht Club) for fear of being run over by a CM in a golf cart. I'm not sure what resort or department he worked in, but he was operating the cart at an excessive speed with guests on the path. He wasn't slowing down for anyone. It was the only negative interaction with a CM the entire trip. When we stay at an Epcot resort again, we will probably not stay here. We would opt for Boardwalk Resort.
