Do your research. Not luxury. Cost does not match up to experience. Rooms have seen a lot of life - worn —tattered - smells - not restful - SO LOUD - can hear every conversation outside door in hallway and rooms nearby. Spare blanket smelled awful had black- mold like mold all over it, even the tissues in the tissue holder smelled awful- musty - not a luxury or even clean/fresh smelling accommodation at any stretch. Do not recommend.

The room is far far away down a long hallway and they won't let you borrow a luggage cart. The bathroom is small. Very dated. FQ was sooooooo much better!!

Had a brilliant stay at a one bedroom villa at the Beach Club. Fantastic place, so clean and villa was huge. We stayed with our teenage daughter so needed the extra bedroom. The resort is very pretty, I was worried about booking as it stated on disney website construction going on. The construction was on the lobby to the villas and was going on in yacht club. Luckily, they had finished a lot at the beach club. The walk to Epcot is about seven minutes one tip with getting into Epcot is remove anything that contains metal and hold it out in front e.g. glasses case or if you carry EpiPen put those out in front of you through the metal detector, it stops the bag search usually, although they can still stop you. It is a fantastic location and easy to get onto the gondolas at Epcot which take you to Hollywood Studios and other hotels. The Villa itself was extremely big. It had a shower room and a bath with a separate room x2 rooms with sinks (helpful when sharing with kids). There are videos you can watch to see the rooms (YouTube ) we cooked quite a few times and there was enough utensils to be able to do this although there is not a grill that we could find but there is a toaster. There is a massive fridge/freezer. From the villa itself it is about three minute walk to the main reception if you want to refill your cups these are definitely worth buying as I think they were $25 inc tax but we used them twice a day once in the morning and once in the afternoon so they are definitely worth getting you can also have coffee and hot chocolate, minimart closed at 11pm. The drinks machine within the mini Mart has about eight different varieties of drinks. You can use them at any hotels and I walked across the boardwalk and there is a deli that you can use it in there as well there is also another one on the way into Epcot within the beach club which serves snacks and food by the pool. The yacht club has a specific Coke machine so if you want flavoured Coke walk to the yacht club e.g. vanilla Coke as you can’t get this in the beach club. The hotel itself is lovely. There are so many people there but it doesn’t feel overcrowded especially as we went in August which is a very busy time of year check-in was very quick. the only issue we had was with a voucher that we should have been given and luggage tags each that comes as part of a package with BA the hotel didn’t know what we were talking about, once we had checked in and we managed to find the email and they then gave us the vouchers which was for golf and some discounts at Disney Springs. The housekeeping staff were really lovely. I can’t remember the ladies name who mainly did our room and she was so nice to us and made a special effort to chat to us. I would say is if you do have a couple of dollars to leave for housekeeping this is worth doing as it’s a nice gesture with a little note. The Pool itself is very big but does get very busy in August we used the slide which is attached to the property. You just walk across the boardwalk to get to it but it’s literally almost on site but because it goes across the boardwalk you sort of have to walk across it to get to it. The slide was fun. There is a lazy river. This is exceptionally slow whether they had turned down I am not sure, but it was practically stationary but still nice to sit in and there were no shortage of seats so we didn’t have a problem with this for the lazy river. You can walk round the boardwalk which wasn’t as lively as I was expecting. There is a shop that sells general items and tourist type stuff and there are a few restaurants. We didn’t try any of these but they look nice enough. There is also a Dance place for over 21s but it was a nice to do a circular walk. You do pay quite a lot for the villas but if you have a child that you want to have a separate room to you, it is definitely worth the extra money. The pull down bed in the lounge was definitely big enough for both my husband and I to sleep on it is as big as a king size bed in the UK and very comfortable. The housekeeping come daily and if you need anything extra just leave them a note and they will do it, e.g. extra coffee ie more than they leave you, there is a coffee machine in the room. We also requested at reception a kettle which they brought. There is a Mickey Alexa in the room. We did use this a couple of times to bring a blanket and a hairdryer. It was a bit clunky and to be honest easiest to ask at reception most of the time but it does do the job and my daughter found it entertaining to use. There is a minimart on site that does the refillable drinks as well as hot and cold food. We didn’t eat here but quite a few people were eating snack type food. There isn’t much choice on food but you can walk down to the yacht club for a few more choices but again we didn’t bother. We mainly ate in the parks. We took a journey out via Taxi to Olive Garden that was very good value for money we had the smaller plate portions of food (this was a normal uk size) you get free salad/soup and bread sticks, breadsticks are literally bread shaped like sticks unlimited, not the hard version. It was nice enough but not overwhelming great, but good value. We used the Uber for taxis as we didn’t hire a car we went to quite a few places target being one of them. We also did the Florida mall that was good. We had no issues with the Uber app and found it very seamless. Just be aware sometimes it says 10 minutes to arrive at the hotel and they can be there within a few minutes so just bear this in mind when you press book. We also did an Uber from the airport to the hotel which came in about 10 mins very easy. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and I would definitely recommend it even with construction. We did hear a little bit of noise from the yacht club when we sat by the pool but to be honest it doesn’t really affect your stay even with all the amount of work that was going on. It didn’t really affect us. We did the evening late entrance to the different parks e.g. 11pm to 1 am the queue times weren’t that short maybe 45 minutes for tower of terror for example instead of one hour but they were slightly shorter and it was fun staying out late as part of your hotel also really nice photos. The queue for Tron was 45 mins during this time. The gondolas are fantastic. There was never a queue and if there was a queue it was five minutes to get on. They move very fast and transport a lot of people very quickly. This was our main method of moving around to Hollywood Studios. You move from one gondola to another halfway which is very easy and all signposted there are toilets at this station which is quite useful. All in all I would say this hotel was excellent and felt newly done up. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

This was our first—and last—time visiting Disney. Unfortunately, this hotel just wasn’t worth the money. The one thing we really liked was its proximity to Epcot and how easy it was to travel between the parks. Other than that, we were disappointed. As other reviewers have mentioned, the resort was busy, crowded, and noisy. The rooms were extremely basic, especially considering the price. I kept hearing about the “Disney magic,” but honestly, we just didn’t experience it here. I’m still wondering what everyone else is talking about! We also found Disney to be unnecessarily complicated. Wristbands, reservations, meal plans—it felt like there was a system for everything. Maybe you need to visit once just to figure out how everything works and get into the rhythm of it all. For us, the experience felt more like an expensive, complicated vacation than a magical one. We’ll stick with Hershey Park, where you can have simple, mindless fun without spending what feels like the cost of a European vacation. Disney = Magical money grab.
