Great if you like cold showers

Getaway59964767177 on Mar 02, 2026

You would think that a hot shower these days could be easily provided for the money Disney charges for their resorts. Not at the Beach Club. Every morning I had to take an at best lukewarm shower. They also have installed motion sensors on the AC thermostat. You cannot put the temp lower than 68 and it'll blow out cold air ONLY if you are moving so for sleepwalkers this isn't a problem. The room gets very warm at night and we stayed in February. I did buy some electrical tape and covered the sensor but it still got warm so there must be an additional restriction to cold air actually blowing. We've stayed at the Yacht Club and Caribbean Beach. Yacht Club was great. I'd definitely stay there over Beach Club

Great time and resort.

Great resort and pool. Always the staff very friendly and helpful. The only negative was we used VDC points for resort view. When I got to the room had a view of a road and traffic. Also the Disney experience app took us to the wrong area.

Absolutely fabulous

Gemma D (Cheshire, United Kingdom) on Sep 11, 2025

What an amazing hotel we have a water view room overlooking Crescent Lake and it was perfect!… two very comfortable beds and the room was super clean and decorated beautifully. The hotel did feel very busy at times in the reception area but I feel this is mainly due to the restaurant and it was used as a waiting area for people attending the Cape May restaurant. Every Disney cast member we talked to was super helpful and friendly. The location of this hotel is perfect boat into Hollywood studios and walk to Epcot in under five minutes, and buses into the other two parks which we never waited long for. We loved the sand bottom pool - Stormalong Bay. I would 1000000% recommend this hotel and we will definitely return! Thank you for making our stay so magical

Busy, Magical, Not Relaxing

Jackie L (New York City, New York) on Sep 02, 2025

We had an overall lovely four-night stay at the Beach Club but there were some things about the resort that were not very “magical.” First, there is construction going on in the front of the resort which can be noisy while you are walking to and from the resort buses. Second, the lobby is EXTREMELY BUSY with the constant influx of people coming and going to dining reservations at the Cape May. Third, we checked in around 9 am to leave our luggage with bell services with no expectation of our room being ready. We headed to the parks and I kept checking the MDE App all day for a notification with a room number. However, our room was NOT READY when. We returned to the resort at 6:00pm to change and get ready for dinner at EPCOT. Although the Cast Member was extremely apologetic, she was on the phone until 6:40pm trying to assess the room situation. Our room was finally ready shortly before 7pm and we waited another half hour for our luggage and Instacart order to be delivered to our room. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed our time there. Watching the fireworks from the pool was magical and there were some lovely people that we met on holiday from the UK. I appreciated the wristband system to prevent pool hopping and make sure that only hotel guests were in the pool areas. We got ice cream from the Beaches & Cream window but it wasn’t the best ice cream that we’ve had. Being able to walk to Epcot and DHS was super convenient especially after long, hot days in the parks. While we enjoyed our stay, I probably would not book Beach or Yacht as I think that you get a better bang for your buck at other Deluxe resorts that are way more relaxing that the busy and sometimes frenetic vibes at Beach Club.

Decent, not great

Tawny W on Aug 21, 2025

Overall it was a decent hotel with a nice pool, but my room had a balcony with a view of the roof. It would have made more sense to just put a wall there than a balcony with an ugly view. I ordered a grinder sandwich at the gift/food shop for $14 and it was terrible. The bread was bad and the scant filling was not good. The Cape May Cafe was pretty good, but probably not worth $50 per person.
