Absolutely phenomenal!

Shout outs to the employees that went way above and beyond with out hesitation and with a huge smile- Louis Rodriguez, Marcelo Alvarez in Valet! Extremely helpful although they were extremely busy! Louis even assisted in getting me ice for my nephew as my nephew is not use to the heat and wanted to keep him from over heating. Kim,Amanda,Cathy,Cris and Gabby at the front desk Exceptional hospitality! Love the nice warm welcome and cookies! Jason the general manager went extremely above and beyond by accommodating my huge family. Surprised us with sweet treats, a HAND WRITTEN card and a yummy cheese platter with fruits in the fridge. The Room attendant on the day of check out was extremely friendly ( I apologize I did not write down her name.) the rooms was extremely clean and up to par condition wise! Any time we needed trash or towels they were very prompt and accommodating regardless of the hour! Ac worked wonderfully in all rooms assigned! My only recommendation is to have microwaves alone request as they are only available the cool game room in lobby level. Having a large family and heating up food such as noodles became a bit of a challenge, but the restaurant provided cutlery and paper plates as well as carrying containers, which was a big life saver as I was able to heat things myself with provided supply’s and carry alone with out 5 kids making a mess in game room. Also all though we had 3 fridges in our combined rooms I feel they should be taller to accommodate family’s they are just a bit small but all in great condition! Our suite was stunning I love the vanity addition to the bathrooms! Linens were soft and cozy almost like new! They provided extra towels and toilet paper etc so no need to ask. Great idea! I would suggest better lighting in the bathrooms as it was difficult to even put my contacts on with just the beautiful merrier lighting, but again the bathroom addition was perfect for doing so. Also was able to hang wet clothes to dry in this space very nice! The young lady with braids that worked at the pool bar on the 31 mid day was slammed with guests and alone, she rocked it!!! Lines after lines she kept pushing regardless of impatient guests she kept a smile and kept the yummy drinks flowing! She deserves a raise! ;) the strawberry daiquiri was delicious and great for a nice cool down! She did an amazing job handling the rude guests and keeping her cool while serving solo! I wish I caught her name!!!! Also while on the pool deck Marline (possibly wrong, started with a M) created me asking if I was a Hilton member and granted me a surprise 500pnts great hospitality!!! She was sweet! Over all a wonderful stay we will be back soooon! Thank you for such an amazing experience- feeling blessed to meet such hospitality!
Great price-decent stay!

We recently stayed at the DoubleTree at the entrance to Universal for a two day stay. The check-in process was fine, no issues with valet service and the room was spacious and clean. It was a large two bed room with a couch and view of downtown Orlando for a rate of $129. For our two day stay there was no cleaning service, so we had to call down to the lobby for towels. The towels never came, so we just brought some back from the pool. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They thought this hotel was great. There is an onsite Starbucks. We ate at the restaurant by the lobby after a long day at the park. Service was very slow and the food was fair. The mac and cheese looked good but had no flavor. Probably would not eat there again. We took an Uber to Universal for $8, but the return home was about $35 due to surge pricing- so keep this in mind! You could walk, but it was 100 degrees, so we decided to save our walking for the park. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again.
