Upon arrival, Carlos, the hotel attendant, helped us with all of our bags and packages and put them in into our room. And before he left, he went to go get us ice. It was a big help because we had lots of luggage and two grandbabies under two years old. Thank you, Carlos. We already love you. Ms. Yost

DoubleTree by Hilton at the entrance to Universal Studios has always been our go-to when coming into Orlando before a lengthy stay. This full-service hotel meets all our needs and has many extra services available. We enjoy the pool area, and all the amenities. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean, and the staff is warm and welcoming… we loved Hakeem at the front desk when checking in. We really appreciate the hotels proximity to Universal CityWalk area. It’s about a mile walk and we really enjoy the stroll through the Universal hotel’s gardens. I would like to give an additional shout out to Doubletree about an employee, Carlos, who is the bellman. He is exceptional at what he does. He’s not only capable, but he’s warm, friendly and quite funny. Three cheers for Carlos!

Not nearly as nice and clean as the photos made it appear. The room was outdated and musty smelling. There were Hilton employees in the lobby with iPads promoting "double points" for the stay which turned out to just be sales reps for Hilton Vacations that couldn't give what they were promoting. I was told approached by then twice, the first time they said they were applying a double point promotion to my stay, and the second time they told me they were confirming it was actually applied. After my stay, I noticed there was no promotion added, I called to inquire and was told there was no double points promotion and those sales reps were just there to pitch vacation packages.

The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance to Universal, room is very spacious. As usual, tasty warm cookies were given during check-in, and we were upgraded to room facing Universal and were allowed for early check in at noon (though the check in time should be at 4pm) which is very meaningful especially after almost 30 hour flight+transit timefrom Indonesia. Service by Carlos is excellent taking care of our luggages from the moment we arrived until we reached our rooms. Will definitely stay at this hotel again for future visit.

The Location was conveniently close to Universal and the City walk which allowed us to stay at the parks from open to close without worrying about any transportation schedule. The breakfast was also really good and had a very attentive staff. Linda was also extremely helpful and kind when checking us into the hotel. I highly recommend staying here if you want to be near the parks and to have a great experience.
