From the moment we arrived, we encountered an issue, but Linda's patience and dedication shone through. She exemplified the outstanding customer service that she strives to provide to all guests, ensuring we felt supported throughout the entire process. Linda remained by our side until every detail was resolved, allowing us to check into our room smoothly. Her commitment to customer satisfaction made a significant difference in our experience. Additionally, we always look forward to the delicious chocolate chip walnut cookies that Doubletree generously provides at check-in, which added a delightful touch to our stay. Her exceptional service is a testament to why I value being a Hilton Honors member. Thank you, Ms Linda, for making our visit truly memorable!

Came for a work trip but also stayed over for fun. Hakeem did an excellent job checking me in & getting me a great room for my stay. He's a great asset for this hotel!

This hotel is fantastic the moment we arrived. We were greeted by Carlos who graciously helped us with our MANY bags! He shared lots of helpful information of the hotel's many amenities on our way up to the room. The rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommend??????????

Medical Safety Ignored and Hidden Fees – A Nightmare Stay

Our stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando was easily the worst hotel experience our family has ever had. What should have been a restful night before our daughter’s gymnastics competition turned into a stressful ordeal. Despite arriving 4.5 hours after the official check-in time, our room was not ready or in acceptable condition. Our 9-year-old daughter has celiac disease, and we travel with specific food that requires refrigeration. The refrigerator was broken. When we went to the front desk (since no one would answer the room phone), the staff showed a complete lack of understanding regarding cross-contamination and medical necessity. After two failed attempts to provide a working fridge, they suggested storing her food in the communal hotel kitchen. When we explained the risk of gluten cross-contamination, the staff admitted they "didn't understand anything about the disease." This is shocking for a hotel that advertises gluten-free dining options. No one answers the guest service lines. We had to walk to the lobby repeatedly while exhausted from travel. The "fix" was eventually plugging a fridge into a different outlet, leaving a cord stretched across the room for the duration of our stay. Be warned—this hotel is not transparent about its pricing. We were hit with several "surprises" that were not clearly disclosed during booking: 1. Resort Fees: An additional daily charge we weren't informed of. 2. Parking Fees: Another daily cost not mentioned upfront. 3. Breakfast: Unlike better-managed hotels in the area, breakfast was not included, and this was not specified clearly during the reservation process. Between the mechanical failures, the disregard for a child’s medical needs, and the hidden fees, I would strongly advise families—especially those with dietary restrictions—to stay elsewhere. This was a nightmare from start to finish.
