Stayed there this week, February 2026. We had 2 rooms, horrible smell in the rooms, damp musty rooms. Very out dated. Had to use my inhaler because of the smell in the room, I normally only use it once or twice a year. Horrible smell coming from the air conditioning, we had to turn off the AC in 30°C heat. All the rooms were the same. Other guests also had their doors open because of the smell in the rooms. What looked like green mould on the curtains.

The room is very basic. I've stayed at choice hotels that were nicer. The toilet had no pressure and didn't want to flush. There was old and dirty toilet paper stuck on the wall with brown on each side of it. Can only imagine what that is. There was brown residue in the bottom of the tub. The tub drain was completely clogged. It was a lot of fun unclogging that and bleaching the shower (as a guest). Only 2 settings on the showerhead kind of work due to extremely low water pressure. Absolutely will not recommend and will not return. Booked through Priceline.

Stay away from Rosen. They are thieves. I booked a couple of nights via my credit cards rewards program. Upon arrival, I was told I could not have a room because my name "Bill" that I always use when booking hotel reservations without problem, did not match the name "William" that is on my driver's license. I pleaded my case - Bill is obviously short for William. They would not budge. I contacted my credit card program's travel service and, unfortunately, it was too late to change the name on my reservation. The credit card program travel service called and spoke with the local management at the hotel and had no luck in getting a satisfactory outcome. They also called and spoke to the main company to try and get them to cancel the reservation since there was no "free cancellation." They would not budge on this either. So, I had to book as a walk-in at a competitor hotel using real money and I lost two nights of rewards without any compensation at all. What's even worse is that I spent the previous four nights at another of their hotels for a work conference and I stay often at Orlando. Never again will I consider using any Rosen hotel. Thieves.

The location of the hotel was very convenient with lots of restaurants nearby and within walking distance, plus the free universal shuttles are a great perk. The rooms are dated but that didn’t bother us - wifi worked perfectly, as did the heater/air conditioning. Staff were friendly and helpful and we appreciated the two free breakfasts as part of our virgin booking. The beds were comfortable and room was clean upon arrival. On-site washing machine was great and easy to use. We didn’t use the pool due to cooler weather conditions so cannot comment on this. The shower was lovely and hot but the bath tub is very shallow. One issue we found was the cleaners - they didn’t really do anything for the whole time we were there (17 nights) apart from change the bins and towels - no new sheets or beds made and even when we left tips they didn’t take them. Be careful if you want a lie in ir a slow morning because they knock at your door quite early and one time I was in the shower so didn’t answer the door and a few minutes later she had brought security to my room! I was not impressed by this at all. That being said, this was a minor issue and the hotel is excellent value for money and I would stay here again.

There now is a $10 parking charge and the pool loungers are all plastic and slats, there was no one in the pool and does not have a pool side bar were you can order food, also the washing machines are so old they are starting to rust around the bottom. The bar is only open from 5pm and the restaurant is only open 3 nights a week now.
