Central, clean, large rooms

Janet C (Glasgow) on Mar 26, 2026

This motel is really good value and I am definitely going to go back. The room was spacious, clean and everyday the room was serviced. It has a coffee machine , fridge, lots of fresh towels and swimming pools both have towel stations. The hairdryer works well and lots of channels on tv. Good blackout blinds. I have took one star off due to the loud sound of the air conditioning machine, but apart from that I couldn’t fault anything. The motel is right behind wendy’s , ihop and McDonald’s , Walgreens and the bus stop to universal studios (5 mins on bus) and a 15 minute walk straight into the park!! The security is on 24/7 and only allow residents to enter and park which was great. They have a shop which you can get your milk for your coffee and any late night snacks. The restaurant looked good but I never used it during my two weeks here. The grounds are very nice and two good size pools . They have a few Launderettes st a reasonable price . You can get a free shuttle bus to universal parks but you have to let them know the day before. We just used the I-trolley and it was no problem Overall central, clean, nice staff and good reasonable price for families.

Our Comfortable Place

joen242 (Johnstone, United Kingdom) on Mar 25, 2026

Due to weather there was a delay in getting the baggage off the aircraft.  This meant longer queues at immigration, then it seems a bottle neck of folk checking in to the Rosen.  We asked if we could have a ground floor room around numbers 1140 onward, they were able to arrange this and further a room with a walk in shower, my wife struggles getting in and out of the bath.  The room had a different layout due to the larger shower area and a King sized bed rather than two singles, but no issues.  The beds are not made up every day now but bins are still emptied and the usual checks made.  I think every fourth day the top sheets are replaced and every seventh the whole bed changed.  We did have an issues with the sink, this was fixed quickly and efficiently. The room was clean, normal amenities, WiFi, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, modern TV.  Maybe the decor is a bit dated, but the reasons to holiday in Orlando are not for the hotel rooms. We enjoyed time by the pool and there were regular checks and patrols by the hotel staff. We have stayed in a number of hotels in the past, the first was The Gateway, and also tried the Rosen at 9000 I-Drive (which was nice) but we seem to gravitate to the Rosen at 7600, we didn’t drive in the States, and this is central, easy to access the trolley bus or the Lynx services a number of restaurants are in walking distance. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar during the happy hour and found the service to be excellent. On our next trip to Orlando, we will be looking to book the Rosen Inn again.

Great value super close to Universal. Updated and well kept.

JohnBluM2 (St. Johns, Florida) on Mar 01, 2026

We only live about 2 hours from Orlando and got some Universal season passes this year and needed to find a motel that'll be our home base for what will be a bunch of trips. With the price of the passes and $11 beers in the parks, we didn't want to break the bank but wanted something nice and close to the park. I think we found it here. First off, it's an older motel, built in the 80s, I figure. It's really been kept up and updated nicely. The furniture was nice, bed super comfortable and paint was fresh. Shower was nice and water was HOT (not often the case in older places). The TV worked great which also isn't always the case in motels...even the big ones. Check in was great with a nice staff. While checking in we saw they had a store onsite with all kinds of stuff so you didn't have to leave the property. They had a restaurant and a real bar. After a long day at the park (only 1 1/2 miles away...2 turns, really) we hung at the bar for a bit. It's a nice bar with a couple of pool tables, plenty of TVs, a great beer special and a real nice bartender. I forget his name but he was great and was helpful telling us about some other places to walk to in the area for food or another drink. Nice granite bar with dark wood behind it. Super nice for a motel. Grounds were nice with plenty of parking. There were some covered areas between the buildings for people to hang. There were 2 pools that looked really nice. Even though we got 2 nice days in Feb, still not time for the pool. Next time. They also have washer and dryers in a bunch of places for those staying longer. I was really happy with the place, the price the people and the location. We'll be back a few times this year. Home base = Found. ;)

ASTHMATIC'S STAY AWAY

Ru T on Feb 22, 2026

Stayed there this week, February 2026. We had 2 rooms, horrible smell in the rooms, damp musty rooms. Very out dated. Had to use my inhaler because of the smell in the room, I normally only use it once or twice a year. Horrible smell coming from the air conditioning, we had to turn off the AC in 30°C heat. All the rooms were the same. Other guests also had their doors open because of the smell in the rooms. What looked like green mould on the curtains.
