Place to stay if visiting epic

kenneth0923 (Erwin, Tennessee) on May 16, 2026

Great location if wanting to spend most of your time in epic. Great views from room 6098, it overlooks epic. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff is amazing. There are 2 restaurants. One is a walk up and order from a window near the pool. The other is inside. The I side restaurant has huge portions, so easily shareable. The only issue is that its quicker just to walk back from epic than wait on the bus. It takes about 12mins to walk back. Cut through the parking lot for a quicker route. We waited on the bus for 10 mins at epic one time and decided to walk. We saw no bus the whole walk back.

Pleasantly surprised

10carlh (United Kingdom) on May 16, 2026

My girlfriend surprised me with a night at this hotel for my birthday during our Disney holiday so we could benefit from early entry into Epic Universe as we have never been to that park. Upon arrival at the hotel it looked stunning, we had only ever seen it when it was being erected and so it was a pleasant surprise to see it complete and looking amazing with the sun shining against it... The location was great for walking to the park and there was plenty of parking. We were pleasantly surprised that we could park there all day and until midnight the day we checked out meaning we could stay in the park until it closed. Although we didn't spend much time at the property (as we checked in during the evening and out the following morning when heading to Epic Universe we did take a good look around. We have stayed at Dockside previously and this gave Dockside vibes but it really was nice. The room was well played out, plenty of charging points, a good tv, lovely shower and bathroom area and the beds were comfy. The walls in Dockside we found very thin and these ones are either not so bad or we had very quiet neighbours as we couldn't hear anyone else at all. The staff when checking in weee superb, the lobby well played out and very clean and tidy, the shop has everything you'd need and expect as do the food locations on property. I was very impressed to see a nice sized gym, well equipped and also a very nice looking pool with loads, and I mean loads of loungers. They were also showing a film on a large projector by the pool during the evening we checked in. We really did like this hotel and would 100% consider staying here again if we look to stay by Epic universe over the other Universal parks.

Quick 1 night stay for Epic Universe.

Jennifer L (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) on May 14, 2026

We had a really quick stay, 1 night to have early access to Epic Universe. The hotel is clean and new. Way nicer than another Universal property I have to stay at often due to sports. The ability to walk to and from Epic was great. I thought the food options in the morning were good and the Starbucks line moved way faster than another Universal Value property. The rooms had nice electronic features and easily accessible light switches once in bed. If you travel enough you know what I’m referring to. This is a comfortable size room with a sink/dressing area separate from the bathroom which is nice when you’re traveling with others. I would definitely stay here again.

Meh..

stewman67 (Wellington, Florida) on May 03, 2026

Pros: clean, friendly staff/service. Shuttle was excellent and it was close the epic where you can walk it in 10 mins. Cons: no valet but they charge $30 to park your car. To much noise from the hall. Limited on site convenience store. Food served at restaurant (was that even a restaurant or a cafeteria) was mediocre. Not really a place I would stay again for my taste.

Amazing stay

Absolutely fabulous hotel with outstanding customer service. Staff communicated with me through text messages regarding a food allergy in our party and alert us on what do to when ordering food at the hotel and at the parks. Our room was ready 2 hours before check in time. Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet at night so we requested a higher floor. Really close to Epic Universe which was the park we were visiting. Food at Cosmos was delicious and affordable for a hotel eatery. The pool was warm and had some pool floaties and toys for the kids. We will stay here again in the future. Thank you Meredith and Francesca for a truly amazing communication.
