Ring in the New Year
NQuoryo (New York City, New York) on Jan 09, 2026
Arrived early so no available room yet, grabbed lunch at their cosmos cafe, good portion and tasty sandwich & tomato soup, we got a room afterwards so happy about that then just enjoyed a sunny pool day before dinner at bar helios. Stella Nova room was pool view, place was quiet except for the opening/closing of doors, theres water/ice machines for refill, did laundry on 9th flr. Gym equipment were new & clean, did not use housekeeping, just asked for new towels, coffee pods & trash bags. Easy walk to epic universe, shuttle buses to citywalk/universal studios/islands of adventure. stayed til new years and shuttles were organized to get us back at hotel after the fireworks in the parks. nice place to stay, wish to have shopped more in their souvenir shop as they have items that are only found there.
Great value and option across Epic Universe!

Stella Nova was a good value, conveniently located across the street from Epic and a short walk. The buses to all the parks and Citiwalk were also convenient and always available outside, we didn’t have to wait. The hotel is new and the rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. We did not find the rooms to be noisy like many describe in reviews. The staff was nice and friendly and helped us with questions and with our luggage since we arrived early and our room was not ready. We went for New Year’s and wanted to stay close to Epic Universe so we could easily go back and forth. It was busy but check in was smooth and didn’t feel crowded. The only thing was that we had to wait a little for the elevators but it was not too bad. The fitness gym was really nice with new equipment and ample locker area to change if needed. All and all, I recommend this hotel and would stay again.

I was in the Stella Nova Bar @ 12 when they close and tried to make me pay a bill I didn’t contribute too. I disputed it. They called the cops. I was released without any wrong doing but trespassed. I’ve never seen in my life any time 3 ppl come out to harass someone about a bill I didn’t occur. Stay off the resort
Totally Unacceptable

It is totally unacceptable to only service rooms every other day at a major theme park hotel with a resort swimming pool that is $300+ per night. Period. Trash does not get picked up every day in a room that most families will eat at least one daily meal in. No clean towels in a room in which you may want to shower twice a day if you use the pool. A family of 4 surviving on only one small roll of toilet paper every two days … And they don’t tell you about any of this in advance or during check-in. So if you stay here be prepared to bring extra towels, trash bags, toilet paper etc. We really wanted to like this hotel and we did like certain aspects of it. The rooms are well laid out with good bench seating and a small table to eat at. They have good storage. The bathroom is convenient with a sink outside of the water closet so two people can get ready at the same time. The large oval window offers good outside light and views of the surrounding area - on one side you will see the pool area and parts of Seaworld in the distance if you are on a higher floor and on the other side you look out at the parking lot and parts of Epic Universe. The pool area itself is nice with a large pool and hot tub and a good bar with outdoor food service with a large number of chairs and umbrellas. But the main reason we chose to pay more to stay here was its proximity to Epic Universe. The hotel boasts that it has a path to the park, but that path is nearly half a mile long and requires you to cross a major roadway (at least two lanes on each side with bus lanes in the middle) and the very long traffic light gives you only 40 seconds to do it. This walk takes well over 10 minutes, and by that time you are much better off taking the free bus. But that negates the only advantage of staying at this hotel. You can just as easily take the bus from the Cabana Bay Resort or any other Universal hotel - a number of which are a much better value than this hotel. So given the lack of much needed room service and the inconvenient walking path for a relatively high cost being paid, this hotel only gets a two star rating from us.
a bad choice

the hotel is considered low budget ... but its not cheap ..and the room was very small with loads of issues...the phone did not work for 3 days for example they failed to say there was no daily maid service etc...there is no porter or valet service ... there are much better options at prob not much more money
