The hotel has pleasant gardens and two pools and was covenienly l;ocated in North Scottsdale. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable. The major factor in not giving a higher rating is that the rooms are dark, have no views . I expect most view on the ground floor are similar although those on level 2 maybe better.
A big lack of communication

We just arrived at the Sheraton after 2 weeks in Kauai . We checked in only to find the pool area including jacuzzi area closed Every day the story has changed and the timeframe moving on the pool opening.Our entire first week is gone A heads up would have helped. I would have stayed in Hawaii Very disappointed !
No hot tub equals no enjoyment.

Heard great reviews about the resort, especially the pool area. Specifically chose it because I just wanted a place to relax for a week and soak in the hot tub. Highly disappointed that no one told me in advance that the main pool area, including the hot tub, would be closed for maintenance the entire week of my stay.
Came down with my sister and her husband. Due to a recent back injury, she finds her major source of relief is sitting in a hot tub, several times a day. Without this option, she had a very painful stay and ended up shortening her stay.
Front desk staff were sympathetic, but this is of little comfort. Because of the huge auto show on at the same time, with no vacancies anywhere, they couldn't transfer us to one of their other properties. No compensation was offered by management for this wasted holiday week.
Perhaps next time when they are planning pool area renovations, they might want to consider not doing it during the heart of tourist season.
The only reason I'm not giving a one star review is that the staff was friendly and the rooms were both spacious and comfortable. Sadly, I suppose I'll never get to know how nice the pool and hot tub is, as I most likely won't give them a second chance.

We have been timeshare owners for over 40 years. This is the first time we had so many things not working in the unit. We spent three days with no heat during the coldest days. The dishwasher did not work properly and it appears that a double or queen flat sheet was used on our king bed instead of a fitted sheet so the pad underneath did not stay in place and was very lumpy. Needless to say, we were very disappointed.
Disappointed, not what we hoped for!

We came here For our 45th anniversary, Marriott who owns Sheraton sent us here on 4 Day “Deal”. We own 4 Timeshares with Marriott and we are very Happy with our accommodations when we stay there. We Arrived here at Sheraton on Thursday and We got an early check in around 1pm. We got to our Room and We were Very surprised how Small and outdated this room they gave us. Tiny to say the least. No Closet space or Dressers to put your cloths We have been living out of Luggage! Never Again. There is a reason why They are #60 in Hotel stays here in Scottsdale. You get what you pay for. We were mislead by Marriott Vacation Club. There are Many Choices here in Town. This is NOT one of them.
