This was our 5th time at Select at Casa Marina. It’s like coming home for Thanksgiving dinner! ?? The staff are so welcoming and efficient. Although the beach is small compared to many other resorts, a much larger one (Playa Alicia) is available and easily accessible next door. Select offers amenities that the family side are not privy to. A private restaurant, Herman’s, where the waiters William, Pedro, Amenancio and Marvin warmly welcome you. At the pool bar Juan, Sandy, Jose and Harrison will make your favourite cocktails with top shelf alcohol. Get the nibbles from all that time in the water or lounging by the pool ? There’s a delightful hors d’oeuvre area set up by Herman’s for Select guests. There is also a pool menu enabling you to eat poolside. Seriously..there were times we felt like a Kardashian! And, not to be missed, sitting on the outside patio with a delicious cocktail (or Presidente cerveza) enjoying the fabulous sunset! If you’re looking for a lot of action this would not be the place. If you want to relax, renew and regenerate, you will be pleased. There is a buffet shared by the family and adult side but Select guests have a private dining area. As well, there are three à la carte restaurants, Italian, Mexican and seafood. The seafood doubles as a quick lunch restaurant serving hamburgers, hotdogs, pizzas and salads. Housekeeping is efficient and the chambermaids are very accommodating. If you need more of any of the amenities just leave them a note with your request. Tips are always appreciated and welcomed. Francis and Amal at the Select private check-in desk are amazing and extremely helpful. Any minor issues we had were addressed immediately and efficiently. Walk out the front door and you face a baseball field (currently being renovated) and to the right and left, you’re in Sosua proper. There are many restaurants, bars and stores to shop. We never felt uncomfortable walking outside the resort but then again, we are not night owls??. There is entertainment every night at the theatre in the front of the resort as well as a gym and spa. We have travelled to a number of places and resorts in the DR but have, and will continue, to return to our little piece of Paradise- Select at Casa Marina.

Amazing Resort!!! Francis is excellent, he gave us an upgraded room and a complimentary bottle if champagne because we are repeat guests. The entire staff is amazing, we get perfect service and we are treated like royalty. We love the foid, the drinks are fantastic and the rooms are spotless and well maintained. We will come back again in the fall.

From the moment we arrived the personnel was friendly, smiling and helpful. Our rooms were nice & clean and all items replenished when needed. The pool & beach area were well maintained. We enjoyed the gardens & peaceful adult only section. The food was good and the buffet & restaurants had a good variety to offer. We will be returning soon to again enjoy a restful vacation.... This was our second time to this resort (April 2026). Was there in March 2026 also. The resort is very clean. The rooms were clean. All the staff were excellent. Food at Herman’s,Luigi's and the Seafood Restaurants were excellent. Staff at Herman’s Restaurant were outstanding. Made you feel like family. At the check in on the Select Side Frances is the best. Can’t wait to go back. We have booked for February 2027.

We love everything about this resort except for the beach being closed for half of our trip but that’s out of the resort’s control.
