Hotel appears to be struggling

We were at the hotel on June 19/20. Upon arrival there was no one at the bell hop desk. Went up to the front desk and there was no one at the front desk. Had to ask is anyone working here? Someone came out from back office. The restaurant was closed. The next day was a beautiful day and asked if we could go outside by the pool. NO there is no lifeguard. Obviously a liability issue. They never cleaned the room and only had two towels so had to call to get additional linens. We had prepayed for the room and they apparently charged $10 less than they were supposed to so at checkout they charged the $10 without telling us. Took four calls( they never returned calls) to find out what the $10 charge was for? This hotel has declined seriously since it was owned by Delta. Covid 19 has impacted businesses but this hotel is using it to fleece its customers. May want to try the Hilton next door.

Stayed in better hotels

Restaurant only open 3 days a week , the bar when it’s open (3 days) opens at 5 shuts at 10. , so when you come back from a full day out or fancy a night cap you can’t get a drink,for a large hotel chain in a major city that’s really bad. I understand Covid as caused staff shortages but ?

No housekeeping on room for 5 night stay

The front desk staff were nice and helpful. This is the only good thing I have to say about this hotel. There is no safe for valuables in the room. On a 5 night stay housekeeping did not come by the room once. On the 3rd day I went the the front desk to inform them that housekeeping had not been by my room yet. The said that they only clean the rooms every 3rd day (I had not been informed of this when I made the reservation or when I checked in), and that they would be by that day to clean the room. When I informed the front desk the night before checkout that housekeeping had not been by once, they said they would talk to the manager about it. (I have yet to be contacted by the manager.) Will not return to this hotel, may not stay at another Delta hotel if this is their standard.

Decent hotel

The hotel is huge, rooms are good size and bathrooms very comfy. We were on 12th floor and view was very good. Staff is friendly and they extended all possible help. We enjoyed bed and pillows as well all amenities. The tower hotel is centrally located and all places of interest are nearby.

Never staying here

This hotel is so old and dirty, I can't believe they don't upgrade this place to maintain a positive experience for customers. First of all the reception has about 2 people working on a long weekend, which makes the wait time to just check in forever. Secondly, this hotel allows dogs, I can't imagine how dirty that would make the rooms. Lastly, the carpets are stained and smelly. Looks like mold is growing on them. I had to go and buy slippers just to walk around the room. I've been to so many Delta, this by far is the most dusty and dirty place.Never going back for sure. Pls change the carpets.
