Despite undergoing renovations, we were quite comfortable. The room was not quite set up upon arrival. The bathroom could have used another rinse. The finishes are showing wear and tear, but it is also a busy hotel. The mini fridge was very mini and off to the side. It seemed out of place. There wasn’t an in-room safe. We only had one roll of toilet paper, and it took three attempts before we finally got a second roll (the next morning). Service was mostly attentive, otherwise. The fan in the room was noisy - and it seems the a/c would shut off on its own at night because the room would be very humid. The hotel is situated near a lot of restaurants and a short walk to D Quebec. I would skip the restaurants in Old Quebec and walk to Saint Jean - cute shops and cafes! The pool was hot and overcrowded. There was a spa mentioned in the brochure, but I couldn’t find it in the hotel. The apples and cold water is a nice touch. I think it’s expensive for what is offered, and there are other hotels in the area priced similar or less.

We joined a package tour so this hotel was selected for us. It appeared to be going through a lot of renovation. The building was quite old and so the room also felt dated. There were lots of rooms on one floor serviced by two elevators, which wasn’t an issue. The issue was the signage. Based on the signage, we could not find our room and this happened to another family on the same tour. The signage was so misleading that you could find the right way out of the hotel. That was a bit frustrating. The hallways remind me of university residences. I am curious to see the outcome of the renovation!

Hotel room was clean and overall quite good. The problem we had was during the check in. Our reservation was not registered in their system, but we had already paid and booked everything with our travel agency. After some calls and 2h waiting at the reception, a new reservation appeared in their systems with any further clarification (at the time of the “new” reservation it was 4 am in Europe). Very unprofessional customer handling and no excuse from the hotel for letting us waiting so long for a clearly failure in their systems. In addition we heard from the reception that they had already the same problem a few hours ago and “glitches can happen”. On the last day there was a power failure which lasted until we checked out. At least 2 hours without electricity in any form and, again, no excuses or explanation. In addition, the alternative parking area for the check in is a bit far away from the entrance. The hotel is being remodeled and some areas do not give an impression of a 4star hotel.

our travel agency (Canusa) booked us two nights in this hotel. we asked for upscale, romantic hotel for our family holiday. well this was definitely not it. the hotel needs substantial refresh. dirty carpets, damaged parts o toilets, dirty windows. rooms not being made. we moved to another hotel after one night. max. three stars conference hotel standard.

Was pretty average. Low cost but currently doing renovations so no club lounge. Pool is very tiny outside and non inviting. Breakfast which was included was basic, friendly service. Needs a revamp overall. My only qualm was service for cleaning rooms was not the greatest. We booked two rooms and after being out all day they were not clean so had to call several times to get them done. Not the best cleaning service , missing bathroom items and few towels.
