Check Your Final Bill Carefully

Upon checkout, I discovered that a server at the hotel restaurant had altered my bill. I had written a specific tip amount, but the server crossed out both the tip and the total, replacing them with a higher gratuity amount. This is especially concerning given that the service was extremely slow and the food quality was poor. While I initially left a small tip despite the subpar experience, I now regret providing any gratuity at all following this dishonest action. I previously reported this to Sarah-Marianne at the front desk, who forwarded my concern to the manager, Merveille Panghoud. I have also contacted Merveille directly and reached out to the Marriott Bonvoy team, but I have yet to receive a response from anyone. I am very disappointed by the lack of communication and the fact that a guest's payment was tampered with. Even though I disagreed with the final bill and a front desk agent could not retrieve the original bill from the restaurant upon checkout, I was informed that the hotel had to charge my credit card. Our rooms were outdated and our beds made a squeaking noise. I felt that using two elevators to reach any guest room was very inconvenient. Based on all these issues, I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Nice hotel, good location.

Located in a stretch of Quebec City that is close to lots of restaurants, hotels and government offices. Big and bright rooms, great bed and shower. The common area's are full of sunshine and there is lots of public seating araeas. Taxi and U are easy to call. Good staff, but the highlight for me was the restaurant on the 3rd floor. Exceptional food, good prices and fast service.

Should have stayed at the Marriott

The room was worn and outdated. Wrinkled carpeting with near trip hazard. No USB, old style computer hookups from the 90s.

Great hotel experience

We were here for the 66th Pee Wee International Hockey tournament. This hotel handled 3-4 hockey teams along with families with ease. They are smart by placing one team on the same floor to avoid nonsense running around! The hotel was clean, our room got cleaned everyday and everyone was very nice. The bistro has great food and drinks. Another mom and I used the outdoor pool with no kids one night. It was amazing. I used the gym as well. Lots of options and clean. The parking garage is quite low and my jeep thankfully made it in! Anything larger, you have to park outside. It was close proximity to cafes, bars and restaurants. We walked every where. Just bundle up! Outdoor rink a mile a way. It was a great experience. Merci Quebec! When we come back, we will stay at The Delta Quebec!

Do Not Trust the Employees here

Do not trust the people working at this hotel. We left behind 2 inexpensive bathing suits that were drying on the shower curtain rod and called a few hours after checkout. We submitted a list and found ticket through Marriott and the case was immediately closed saying they weren’t found. This hotel is very run down and doesn’t have their guests at the forefront of their minds. What a shame.
