The Delta Hotel was a great stay, while it is located a few blocks further from Ild Quebec than other hotel’s location is great as easy to walk to several streets with great restaurants, the fort / park, government buildings, and even old town. The hotel has a somewhat interesting design as you go to the third floor for the restaurant and to go up to the rooms. I had a good sized room with a view towards old Quebec, it had a great work place, comfortable bed, great shower. The bar was friendly as were all the staff. You truly feel welcomed and appreciated as a guest.

The hotel is nice, especially concierge staff , front desk agent are professional, smiling and helpful, the GM should immediately install washrooms and showers in the Fitness facility / outdoor swimming pool, if Anyone wants to go to restrooms during summing , he needs to walk to middle lobby with his towels full with water. I travel all over the world. This is the first hotel I ever seen this kind of design please as a GM fix it immediately. The club pantry staff need to be smiling and more professional. Guest rooms need Renovations badly, and need USB for charging device in entire room. I don’t think I’ll come back to this hotel again.

Good location just outside the old town. We booked late and the cheapest option available was “Delta pantry and High floor level”. But apparently their registration system doesn’t capture that. We weren’t given access to the pantry, with the front desk insisting we had booked a standard room and had just been upgraded to a higher floor. Very bizarre. Also, we selected “no housekeeping” on the check-in app for our short stay. We put the do not disturb sign out all day, but someone still took the sign off and entered to change out towels. Very unsettling. There are no room safes, so we truly don’t want anyone in the room. I’ve never experienced this anywhere. But rooms were clean and location was good.

Location is perfect. 5 minute walk into old Quebec. Parliament across the street. There is a bus stop and hop on/hop off stop right across as well. Lots of reviews mentioned the rooms being dated… other than the carpet being a bit worn I really didn’t agree with that. Room was cleaned every day, and quiet. My only real complaint is the layout of the hotel meant that the elevator was a very long walk, and it required 2 separate elevators to get down to the lobby. Staff was super friendly in both English and French.

I’d like to start by saying we LOVE Quebec City and we’ve visited numerous times over the years, it never gets old! We’ve stayed in different hotels here but being Marriott members, Marriott hotels are most often our first choice. The Delta Hotel Quebec is perfectly situated, within walking distance to Old Quebec and many restaurants. We find it perfect! We’ve stayed there many times in the past. This last visit was unfortunately not our favorite. At check-in, the vibe was not very friendly at all, we honestly did not feel welcome. We had just returned from staying at Delta Beausejour in Moncton and what a huge difference in attitude! We were sadly underwhelmed here and we are definitely not entitled people! Our room was on the 11th floor, perfectly appointed, no complaints there! It was raining when we set out to go out for dinner so we decided to stay in at the restaurant on site. Great option, it’s a great restaurant/bar, food is quite tasty! We were happy to be there. Unfortunately we did not have a great experience at all with the server/bartender. We really are not hard to please, we don’t like to complain and I honestly hesitated to leave a negative review. It’s very rare that I do, I usually love to let people know when we’ve had great experiences and to give credit to those who add to those positive experiences! Let’s just say that Andrée the server/bartender left us with a very bad taste. Not very often does that ever happen! The whole experience was horrible. I will not go into details here, I will take it up with them. We did have a great stay, loved our time in Quebec City. Yes I’d recommend Delta Quebec for many favorable reasons but friendly customer service is not one of them sadly.
