Dated and uncomfortable

veroniquel385 (Saint-Leonard-d'Aston, Canada) on Nov 30, 2025

The location of the hotel and the friendliness of the reception personnel are the only reasons I am giving 3 stars instead of 2. The hotel is dated, the furniture in the room has seen better days, and the mattress was uncomfortable. There’s a constant air ventilation noise too loud to be considered white noise, and it cannot be modified or stopped by the thermostat. Disappointing for the price.

Ugly in the outside and ok in the inside…

AleGo01 (Guatemala City, Guatemala) on Nov 21, 2025

Stayed at this hotel for one night. Yes, it is outdated, probably from the 60s? The lifts are a bit tragic with a sign warning people not to jump. The rooms are spacious and well kept. The bedding is nice as well. A quick walk from Old Quebec…

Marriott has lost its way!

Bob C on Nov 04, 2025

Marriott buying cheaper properties is degrading its brand. Hotel was awful. Rundown. Outdated. Wish I would have read reviews before booking. Marriott rewards member since the beginning of the program. Lifetime Gold. Could not get English speaking television reception. Brought the issue to management and all I got was there are 2 cable systems within the hotel. I got the non English speaking version. Very frustrating. Only good grade would be for the afternoon manager, Adil. He tried his best but their hands are tied by corporate. Better add the location near old Quebec as a positive. This property should be avoided at all costs especially if you are a seasoned Marriott member and expect a Marriott experience. Second poor experience this year with a new Marriott brand. Stayed at the Moxy in Southampton, England in the spring. Talk about a "no frills" property. Not even a telephone in the very small room.

Good option in QC

Holmesawayfromhome (Saskatchewan, Canada) on Oct 22, 2025

The check in was easy. The quality of the beds, sheets, and towels was good. The room was clean. The only downfall was there was no microwave in the room. It is in a good location. The Parliament building is just down the block and all the tourist areas are a 15- 20 minute walk.

Central location in the city

KnewGuessed (Toronto, Canada) on Oct 14, 2025

The Delta has a very central location in Quebec City, right beside the main conference centre. It is an older hotel that has a retro vibe architecturally, while being outfitted with modern finishes. The hotel was perfectly fine. The room was a tad musty but nothing too bad. Having to take two escalators to your room is kind of weird, or escalators (the up one seemed frequently broken during our stay). The gym was functional and outdoor patio was a nice enough place to sit when the weather was nice.
