Just got home from a week here, unfortunately this resort did not live up to all the positive reviews at all. Positives: The pool area is nice and service by the pool was quite good and the foam parties/ entertainment team were awesome. The rooms are clean. The resort is right in town, so if you want to see the town you don’t need to call a taxi or take the local transit, it’s less than a 5 min walk to 5th avenue. We found some great spots by going even further to 10th avenue and so on, further you go the more authentic the spots you find. Negatives: The beach is non-existent pretty much, it’s very narrow, and not cleared of seaweed regularly, we went to the beach only twice and didn’t stay because it was so bad. The service here is just average, not what I would expect of a 4.5/5 star resort at all. The rooms and resort itself are quite dated. If your room faces the street you will be awake all night from noise from the local bars. We had to change rooms our second night because it was so bad. The mini bar in the room is very limited. This is an adults only resort but the bars open at 10am and close at 11pm, the “24 hour” bar closes/stops serving alcohol at midnight. If you want entertainment after 11pm you have to leave the resort which I thought was odd considering it’s adults only. You can order beer/wine to your room but that’s it. Finally, the food, was not good at all, I was expecting a lot higher quality and was extremely disappointed. Even the a la cart restaurants were not good, we left the resort many night to find food in town. Will not be returning and would not recommend this resort.

We love it! Specially the service at Pelicanos Restaurant with Antonio! HE IS THE BEST, so polite, friendly and attentive! We loved him! Great Asset for the Hyatt Vivid Resort! He will be back.
