We did a trip the first week of December. The weather could not have been better. Mid 80’s all week and the resort was 10/10. We ended up upgrading to an ocean view swim out and had a Butler for the week. Our Butler Mario was incredible. We plan to visit Hyatt vivid again in the Spring and hope to have the opportunity to request him as our butler again. The ocean view swim out room is well worth the upgrade. Waking up to the ocean, having your own private swim area, and access to the cabanas with a butler truly makes this an unforgettable experience.

Awesome amenities. Location is within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, a mall and more. Cabs are readily available and reasonable. Our butler David H was amazing. He anticipated our needs and delivered a much coveted pool cabana during a Saturday pool party. The guys at the front are good with directions, local venues and eateries.

Found a really good deal on this so decided to book it. Took a first time Mexico visitor and when we arrived , I was disappointed to see our room faced the street so it wasn't an ideal situation for a newbie. Upgraded our room to an outrageous tune of $840 Canadian dollars to a swim out. So now our good deal wasn't a good deal at all. Rooms were decent, clean and spacious. I wish the people at the desk took more time to explain where the restaurants were and the hours with a map of the hotel, but sadly we had to find out for ourselves which wasn't ideal. Also our room was missed with housekeeping a few times. The beach out front is rather disappointing as its barely a beach. Our stay was average but we met some really nice people, enjoyed the foam parties, the taco lunch spot and the barefoot takeout. Would I go back? Probably not. I'd find a place with better signage, customer service and a better beach.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything at this resort was amazing. The rooms, the activities, the evening shows, yummy drinks, the restaurants, AMAZING staff!!! 12/10 experience. Also a special shoutout to Antonio that served us around the pool for the week. Friendly, always asking us if we needed anything. I hope to see him again next time we are back. Wonderful wonderful staff. Thank you.

Food very average, and so many strict rules. I couldn’t have anyone visit me with paying loads of money. Also many staff were not that friendly
