I would not recommend staying at this hotel on the weekend if you’re hoping for a restful night’s sleep. We have stayed here multiple times in the past, but this will be our last visit. On several occasions, children were running up and down the hallways screaming, with no adults in sight. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident, and there seems to be little consideration for other guests trying to relax. We are loyal to Marriott-branded hotels and will continue to choose other Marriott locations in the future, but we will not be returning to this

“Cherelynn” at the front desk is a superstar. We arrived earlier than official check-in and she did her best to make us comfortable, all in a highly engaging manner. The room was spacious with a very comfy bed. Property has a nice pool and fun water slide… with appeal to all ages. All in all a wonderful stay!

Absolutely the nicest hotel and staff in St. John's, Newfoundland. They are very accommodating....Rooms are extremely comfortable and they have an excellent senior rate. They even allowed us to check in early due to my husband's medical condition.

The front desk service was over-the-top friendly - an enjoyable Newfoundlander that oriented us. The breakfast was amazing - served on real plates with real silverware. And the bed! So, so comfy. It was just what we needed after a long flight.

Unbelievable! I arrived to check in only to learn the manager made the decision to give my reserved room to someone who had no reservation. Then directed the desk clerk to book me a me a room at another low-end hotel. I received no notification of this until I arrived at the Fairfield at 5pm. When arrived at the other hotel and told them what happened, the clerk informed me that this happens often. There's nothing more disappointing when travelling then having reservations not honored! Never again!
