Great start to our vacation

We started our vacation in NL here. The staff was always polite and helpful. Our room was always kept clean. The menu provided options and meals were served hot and tasty. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the touristy downtown. Although our room didn't have a view of the harbour, we could see Signal Hill! I would not hesitate staying here on our next visit.

Sadly, not a good experience

This is the first time we have been disappointed with our stay at a Sheraton Hotel. We stayed in two different rooms; both had terrible mattresses and one had old bedding. The a/c units were incredibly noisy. Apparently, cleaning the bathroom counter thoroughly is not possible, even after complaining. The only positive experience was the breakfast and the staff. Thank you, Sheila, for being such a friendly and helpful person.

Nice hotel

Very nice hotel , waking distance from harbor and downtown, big nice and clean room with big windows we booked the harbor view room, we get the sunrise and sunset view from the room , we got the chance to see the princess cruise ship from the window , platinum members will get breakfast in the lounge, lounge opens 24/7 , we were very happy with our stay, there are lot of restaurants and souvenir shops in downtown area , lot of things to do in harbor area and everything is close to the hotel, tour desk also inside the hotel, good customer service, highly recommend

Upscale Stay in a Great Location

This hotel is ideally located just steps from nice cafes and the main downtown district while somehow being separate from any bustle. St. John’s is a very hilly city and this Sheraton is on top of a rise, so heading into the action is a downhill stroll. The rooms are comfortable, though many hotels in Newfoundland only offer rooms with two double beds instead of two queens, including this one, which was the main disappointment. The hotel lives up to Marriott standards, with attentive housekeeping and a great restaurant. Newfie hospitality was on full display, with the staff all being friendly and helpful, especially Ashley at the front desk and Jacquina (not sure if I spelled that right) at the restaurant. This is a good hotel to choose for your stay in St. John’s.

Great Stay- Thank you!

On a solo trip to St. John's for 5 days, I stayed at the Sheraton and used some Marriott points. I loved the feel when I walked in, it feels like a sweet, boutique hotel. The hotel is huge though! There is a wedding going on inside right now. The common areas are really bright, pretty and comfy. I have found my room to be really great. I look out onto the water and I love waking up to the view. In room coffee is the bare minimum but there is a place on the corner that has the best oat milk lattes called Bannerman Brewing. I had breakfast at the restaurant at the Sheraton and it didn't disappoint - everyone is SO FRIENDLY!!
