Bay gardens inn

We had the most amazing time at Bay Gardens Inn . The staff were helpful and always so polite . We enjoyed several night at the Bay Gardens Hotel where nothing was too much trouble for the staff. All the team made us feel very welcome . Highly recommended

Excellent Location, Value for Money, Exactly what we expected

This was our first long haul flight since before the start of the pandemic, having travelled extensively around the world. Upon arrival we were treated to an efficient check in and a rum punch:). The room was exactly if not more than we expected for the price we paid. It was a large room, clean, plenty of towels, in a good location and just a few steps away from the pool. It is not a luxury hotel but in fairness it doesn't advertise itself as one. Some days we did have to ask for towels, coffee and toilet rolls but Hey Ho, this is the Caribbean (and exactly what we needed) as soon as we made the call they were always prompt with their response and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. On our first day we asked for more coat hangers and were asked if we could call back later that day and we could pick them up from there. We completely forgot and when we returned to our room they had been left on the side. The staff behind reception were a delight, my husband mentioned that we were going on a trip and would need clean beach towels in the morning, the reception staff remembered and had clean towels waiting for us! Having the use of all of the Bay Group hotels is a bonus, most days we used the facilities at Bay Garden Resort Inn, sun beds were always available and the guy monitoring was so helpful with a good sense humour. As I mentioned above everything described about the hotel was exactly what "it said on the tin". If you have higher expectations then you need to book one of the high end hotels but miss out on the "real Caribbean"

A nightmare from beginning to end.

Well where do I start? First of all the lack of customer service is appalling. Some staff there are really very good but the hotel is let down by the lack of care and professionalism expected at such a venue. There is laid back and there is comatose? We had to constantly Ask for essentials in our room such as towels, tea,coffee,milk and loo rolls. We had to ask every day and sometimes twice or 3 times a day in order to get these items. The food was appalling, mostly poor quality and the breakfast was inedible. We had personal items taken from our room and was shocked at this event. We reported it to the management who got the local police to come in and take a report. They were totally uninterested and made it quite clear. Also even though the general manager said she would investigate nothing ever transpired to get any answers on the theft. The General manager was a lovely lady and well respected which I will be honest and state she was great, however, the whole experience summed up probably the worst holiday experience we have ever had and totally not worth the money we spent. If I could give one point of advice I would say look at somewhere else to stay that offers better value, better food and better service.

TWIN room was supposed to be ' 'deluxe with pool view' - it was tired and in a souless annexe with no facilities away from main building. It took 24 hours to sort bed situation. Food 4 out of 10 and same for the staff. Generally clean with well kept gardens. Would not go back.

Exactly as expected for what we paid

We originally booked this hotel bay garden in for a holiday, however it ended up being our honeymoon. The manager upgraded our room for free which was a lovely touch. We initially booked for a cheap get away in the Caribbean. The hotel was exactly as expected cheap and cheerful, the rooms are a bit tired but immaculately clean. We chose room only. We had to eat in the hotel once due to covid curfew and missing eating out not realising it was at 6 on a sunday. The food was OK but overpriced compared to what is available locally. Good location a short walk to the supermarket beach and returants. Pool area lovely but pool very shallow watch your knees Don't expect luxury , but it was perfect for the money we paid , if your expecting luxury you will neef to pay 4 times a much. I feel we got a bargain for what we paid. Would i go again, yes I would excellent value for money. Would I have chosen it for my honeymoon probably not but definitely for a normal holiday
