Horrible service, zero entertainment, food is terrible, the room have no towels to be able to shower and it's been 3 days and nothing has changed so we used the beach towels. The walls of the room are splashed with mosquitos and unknown stains. Cannot enter my room without going back to the lobby to ask for a technician because the door won't open with that access card. The technician has to comme 3 to 4 times a day to check it but was told cannot give me another room. Resort in very dark and have a poorly menu at snack bar. It's consist in a very small rou d bread with one slice of ham and cheese. The breakfast is horrible. The food is limites and not good. The juices are awful and don't get me started with the coffee. Overall we are having an horrible vacation and we wish to we could cut it short. Never coming back ever again. Think twice before booking it's no worth the trip.

Best hotel ever in Varadero, Barceló Solymar has the best location of all the resorts that destiny. Beautiful lobby with natural plants and very charming. Kind workers, specially Lázaro from the best. The beach is their best resource, white sand and beautiful turquoise water, a show

The staff at the Barcelo is the best. Make sure to stop by the horizontes bar to see Lala Suarez, sweetest lady ever. Special thanks to community manager Alexander Florat who will go behind his way to help and enhance your stay. Best beaches ever. Over and all the best value for your buck.

Visited Barcelo for my birthday week on July 5th 2024. Had a great time! The people working there are the best and made the stay enjoyable and memorable. The staff is wonderful, they try to make their possible to make you happy, special thank you to Alejandro Florat and Lala Suarez. I loved the temperature, the beach, the proximity of the main street. All the good things exceed the little minor issues.
