The Sol Palmeras would like to inform guests of an essential maintenance project to one of the main swimming pools and the “El Mojito” Pool Bar starting November 1, 2025, through to the end of January 2026 (approximately three months).
During this time:
- All other swimming pools, including the kids’ pool, will remain fully operational, with enhanced services provided.
- The services of “El Mojito” will be relocated to the newly upgraded “Sol Cubano” Beach Bar, which will serve as a refreshed seaside gastronomic experience for guests.
For guests’ safety, all areas under maintenance will be clearly marked and secured. The work being conducted is non-disruptive, and every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience to guests.

Unic experience in varadero. Varadero have one of the most beautiful beaches. Amazing food and people attention. Everything was great.

We just returned after spending a wonderful week at a most beautiful resort in Varadero. This was our 5th visit but certainly not our last. Sol Palmeras is a very clean, safe and friendly resort. It has a varied Buffet Restaurant as well as several 'specialty' restaurants. Our experience with the types of food and the overall quality was very good. We had been invited to an incredible 'Repeat Guest' dinner...and it was over the top! The food was outstanding and the ambience could not have been better (outdoors beneath the palm trees and stars with lovely musicians!). Our most comfortable room was always cleaned by friendly staff. We are consistently impressed with the staff who are kind, helpful and respectful. They will always do their best to accomodate your requests. The white sandy beach is very large and has plenty of loungers for all their guests. Sol Palmeras will be the one and only resort we will visit for our Cuban vacations. Thank you to ALL the hard-working individuals for making this a memorable vacation. We will visit our 'home away from home' and our 'second family' in 2026. Mucho Gracias with love and respect. Room #3089
