Earn

To be eligible to earn WestJet points under the TELUS Rewards Program, a participant must:

• Be a WestJet Rewards member with an account in good standing (a “WestJet Rewards Account”)
• Have a TELUS Rewards account in good standing (a “TELUS Rewards Account”)
• Link their WestJet Rewards Account and TELUS Rewards Account (“Account Linking” and each participant who links their account, a “Linked Member”).
• Please note that following Account Linking, the TELUS Rewards session may remain active in the background, and the member may continue to be logged into their TELUS Rewards account for a limited period of time.

Each WestJet Rewards Account may only be linked to one TELUS Rewards Account, and each TELUS Rewards Account may only be linked to one WestJet Rewards Account.

Once Account Linking is completed, Linked Members will have the option to select WestJet points as their preferred rewards currency through the TELUS Rewards portal. All TELUS Rewards points earned with the associated TELUS Rewards Account will automatically be converted into WestJet points, subject to the applicable conversion rate. Only TELUS Rewards points that convert to whole WestJet points will be transferred; any remaining TELUS points will be retained as TELUS Rewards points.

Please allow up to 48 hours for any updates to preferred rewards currency to take effect.

Linked Members may de-link their WestJet Rewards Account and TELUS Rewards Account at any time. Upon de-linking, members will no longer be eligible to earn, redeem, or convert WestJet points under the TELUS Rewards Program.

Redeem

Redemption for Bill Credits

• Linked Members may redeem WestJet points for TELUS bill credits through the WestJet Rewards portal.
• Linked Members may redeem WestJet points for TELUS bill credit at the following rate:

• Once selected by a Linked Member on their WestJet Rewards portal, bill credit will be applied to the Linked Member’s TELUS Rewards account within 2 hours and will be automatically applied to the Linked Member’s next billing cycle. 

Restrictions

• Bill credit may only be applied toward eligible TELUS services billed directly by TELUS.
• Bill credits have no cash value, are non-refundable, and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
• Once a redemption is submitted, it cannot be reversed, cancelled, or converted back into WestJet points.
• WestJet reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit the amount or frequency of bill credits that may be redeemed by a Linked Member.
• TELUS bill credits redeemed through WestJet Rewards do not count toward TELUS Rewards bonus offers, or other TELUS promotions unless explicitly stated.

Convert

TELUS Points Conversion: Linked Members may convert WestJet points into TELUS Rewards points at a rate of 100 WestJet points = 700 TELUS Rewards points by logging into their WestJet Rewards account and visiting their dashboard. A minimum balance of 2,500 WestJet points is required to initiate a conversion. Once a conversion is confirmed, it is final and cannot be reversed. TELUS Rewards points will be credited to the linked TELUS Rewards account within 48 hours and are subject to the TELUS Rewards terms and conditions of use.

TELUS Seat Selection Vouchers

• TELUS Seat Selection voucher is valid for any standard seat in the Economy cabin where a fee typically applies. Not valid for Exit Row and Extended Comfort seats. 
• Not valid for seats in Premium or Business cabins.
• The voucher can also be used for guests travelling on the same itinerary.
• The TELUS Seat Selection voucher is for one-time use and must be used prior to check-in; a fee will apply if selecting or changing a seat during check-in.
• TELUS Seat selection voucher is non-refundable when upgrading (either purchased or complimentary) to a higher cabin than originally booked.
• Seat selection is subject to availability.

TELUS 3-day roaming passes

The TELUS 3-day Roaming Pass provides access to your plan’s data and unlimited talk and text in the U.S. and in 200+ international destinations.  

To activate your TELUS 3-day Roaming Pass, simply text the promo code found in your My Partner Perks section of your My TELUS Wallet to 7626. Once activated, your TELUS 3-day Roaming Pass will remain active on your account for use within 30 days of activation. Ensure to text the code closer to your travels! 

Important details: 

• All data usage from your monthly rate plan, including shared data. 
• All calls to phone numbers in Canada and within the country you are calling from. 
• All incoming and outgoing texts to any phone number in the world.

Additional conditions: 

• TELUS 3-day Roaming Pass is only valid for TELUS customers with an eligible consumer mobility plan. This excludes Koodo customers and customers with a business mobility plan. 
• Within a 30-day period, you cannot combine your TELUS 3-day Roaming Pass code with another promo code. 
• Your TELUS 3-day Roaming Pass gives you 3 days of Easy Roam at no charge. 
• Your TELUS 3-day Roaming Pass will only activate if you use data, send a text, make or answer a call or check voicemail. 
• Once the TELUS 3-day Roaming Pass is activated it will be valid for the day and can be used consecutively or on separate days. Each day of use is valid until 11:59pm in the time zone you are travelling in. 

General Terms / Disclaimers

Linked Members authorize TELUS and WestJet to collect, use, share, and exchange relevant personal and account information between the Linked Member’s TELUS Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Account as reasonably necessary to operate and deliver the shared program, provide related services, and improve the member experience. This authorization remains in effect until the Linked Member: (i) de-links their TELUS Rewards Account and WestJet Rewards Account; or (ii) provides written notice withdrawing consent, subject to any information sharing that is required to complete transactions or comply with applicable laws.

TELUS and WestJet reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to: (i) change the earn, redemption or conversion rates; (ii) impose or change limits on earning, redemption, or conversion; or (iii) suspend or terminate the loyalty program partnership between TELUS Rewards and WestJet Rewards program.

All terms and conditions of the TELUS Rewards program and WestJet Rewards program continue to apply. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions shall govern with respect to the earning of WestJet points under the TELUS Rewards Program.
