Aruba’s gem

We found that this resort has a fascinating past and promising future. It is set on the best, most widest stretch of beach in Aruba. The team has a down to earth vibe. We felt safe to walk around off-resort in the evenings, and dining options are all close by. John was friendly and personable, always helpful and always seen helping guests. The new public beach complexities do make it tough on these few incredible beachfront properties - they maintain the beachfronts to keep them litter-free and sargassum-free. By Monday, March 16th we saw new signs posted to try to help determine hotel boundaries. We all pay a premium to stay at these best beachfront properties. Jean and Alejandra from Pega Pega, grill were really wonderful servers. There was a little aloe sunscreen station at Pega Pega and this was greatly appreciated as we ran out of sunscreen on our last morning. Julian the beach server on his Segway was excellent and conversations with him was easy to have. His energy and providing interesting information about Aruba. Stefanie at Ike’s Bistro, another long-term employee is outstanding, and the food was superb. Monica, the room attendant always made sure there was creamer for coffee and the room completely spotless each day (#67). Providing little beach coolers in your room to load with water and ice to stay hydrated at the beach was perfectly thoughtful. Thank you Manchebo Beach resort for keeping it real, the vibe special and unforgettable at this spectacular boutique resort. We would love to return.

The staff, location, amenities, food, spa and rooms were amazing! The beach is large and not crowded and the water pristine.

We were very happy with the resort, staff and location; The food was excellent The beach service (plant your flag in the sand, they come out on a big wheeled segway to take then bring your order) was a wonderful touch.
Thank you Manchebo

Just returned from a 5 night stay. Glorious. Dined at all restaurants great food and service. My husband forgot his phone in the room as we arrived at the airport to return home. The airport staff called the resort and Andrew at Manchebo drive it out to us! Where would this ever happen??? Outstanding service. Thank you! Can’t Wait to return next year
Quiet island paradise

We just completed a week at the Manchebo Resort and it exceeded our expectations completely. We toured the island quite a bit and found no other property that compared. It's quaint, with about 70 thatched roof rooms in small, two level buildings with outstanding views of and access to the beach and ocean. There seemed scant difference between ocean view and ocean front rooms, both are exceptional. There are three restaurants that were all excellent and a small sushi bar. They have palapas on the beach that are maintained by the hotel but are public access by law. Hence, they alert you to stake out your spot early but staff is always available to assist. We found great seating at all times of the day. The beach and ocean are so wonderful that we only went in the hotel pool on our last day but it too was great and always had available seating. Our only bad experience was we booked a three hour snorkel tour thru the front desk with Around Aruba Tours. It turned out to be 30 minutes of snorkeling with the balance being deafening Hip Hop music and the staff pouring liquor directly into the mouths of drunken passengers. I am sure there are more relaxing alternatives available if you ask. We did a day long Jeep drive of the island and it was quite an off road adventure on the north side. My suggestion is travel counterclockwise as the National Park closes at 4 PM so you should enter it earlier in the day. We played Tierra del Sol golf course and it was very good. In total, Manchebo is quiet paradise so expect piano, steel drum or saxophone music and a chill vibe. It's not the place to hang if you are looking for raucous late night parties. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional and we look forward to returning someday.
