Beautiful 5-day stay

ravyn7 (Eastern US) on Feb 28, 2026

We had a beautiful 5-day stay at Manchebo. The beach is wide and we were able to get chairs under a Palapa each day. The staff couldnt have been friendlier and two maintenance issues were very quickly cared for. I appreciated having a hot water kettle in the room in addition to a Caffitaly machine. We werent able to get a room with two twin beds, which are limited, but they pulled in a twin in addition to the regular king and that worked fine. I was able to buy laundry pods in the gift shop and use the free laundry machines. Three suggestions to consider. Stay away from the all inclusive breakfast option. It is seriously overpriced and we werent able to eat enough to make it pay off. Also, unless you are experienced in yoga or very fit, the yoga classes may be too intense. I tried on two mornings. Monday, the instructor was kind enough to help me with alternate postures. Tuesday a different instructor never even looked at how people were doing. When she directed a pose with three limbs in the air, I gave up. It was too dangerous. Finally, if you are planning to eat dinner in the restaurants definitely make reservations ahead of time to get the time that works for you.

Comforatble hotel with lovely facilities and exceeptionally friendly staff

LenYCherryHill_NJ (Voorhees, New Jersey) on Feb 28, 2026

I have been to Manchebo Beach Resort three years in a row and it is a very comfortable place to stay. Although not super luxurious, the facilities are lovely, the beach is superb, as is the staff who are always friendly and helpful. The on-property restaurants are very good as well and there are some walkable nearby alternatives too.

Manchebo was excellent a second time!

Inspire3456789 (West Chester, Pennsylvania) on Feb 26, 2026

This was our second trip to Manchebo and it didn’t disappoint. The front desk staff was warm, welcoming and always happy to help. Andrew - we remembered him from our first visit and His welcome, smile and always fun and energetic personality brings a smile to our face every time we see him! Julian - our beach and pool server was attentive and fun and made our trip even better. The entire staff was pleasant, attentive and made us feel welcome! The place is very clean and overall just very pleasant. A few observations for improvement would be the issue around beach seating- there was an argument with some people who were not guests and the staff that got loud. The hotel team decided to clean the pool deck area at noon - for an hour and a half - there should be a better time to do this rather than at peak pool times. We loved our 2nd visit and look forward to the next one!

Beautiful stretch of beach! Lovely wellness retreat!

Christine W (Toronto, Canada) on Feb 26, 2026

We had a wonderful time at Manchebo Beach Resort. Amazing location, beautiful facilities. We loved the pool and beach area. Enjoyed the gym and wellness classes of yoga and pilates - the open air pavilion was lovely. There was coffee and tea in the room, nice Aloe based hair care and body wash. Dining was wonderful and such great ambiance and food quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little dated, but had everything you need. The only hiccup we had was on our dining bill there was a 15% surcharge - when asked about it the server told us that was to be split between all staff to pay their wages? If we wanted to leave her a tip we'd have to leave extra. We were confused, unclear if we were being taken advantage of. We never asked for clarification from management - its the first time we saw a surcharge on our dining bill on the island. We ate at many, many places. This did not detract from our experience, and we would 100% stay here again. This stretch of beach is a little less crowded, and the wellness experience was great. When you meet people at resort who have been there 20 times - that speaks volumes. Lovely, lovely place.
