Rockley is centrally located between the airport and town so it’s a great place to stay,beaches and restaurants surround the area

From the moment I arrived, I felt very comfortable. The room was almost perfect. The view to the pool and the beach was amazing. They respect very much the guests and for me it was marvelous that I'm planning to come back

On arrival I was greeted with a welcome drink from warm and friendly staff. This was a great taste of what was to come from the exceptional bar staff. Once I was checked in, I was guided to my room and shown how to use the amenities inside. The free wifi code is also given. You are given complimentary beach towels on request, and also access to lounge chairs on the nearby beach, just a few steps away from the hotel. The pool is open all day with complimentary water with added cucumber, mint, or berries. This is something that is regularly refreshed. The main pool bar is open throughout the day, with music playing and various refreshing drinks on offer. Staff will also offer a cold towel to keep cool during those hot peak hours. The location of the hotel is perfect in order to access the beach, nearby restaurants (including a Chefette next door). It's walking distance to independent boutique shops, a mall and a world duty free outlet. The hotel has good links to local car rentals and taxis but you are metres away from the bus stop. You can use Transport Board buses (Blue/White and air conditioned), or the alternative yellow buses or experience the ZR's. All in all, this hotel has everything you need in the room. The junior suite has a small kitchenette that included a 2 ring hob, microwave and fridge (with a small freezer compartment). Dish soap/cutlery/pots/pans/plates etc are all clean and neatly put away. The rainfall shower in the bathroom was also was refreshing and had power! Complimentary soaps and lotions are included too. The room itself is clean, minimal but modern with a Bajan flare. The cushions all have local sayings and the artwork is stunning. The balcony gave views of the pool and the beach. Those sliding doors did well to keep out the sound. The hotel has activities on offer each day but a favourite was definitely the managers welcome party and the karaoke on my final night. The children on the trip were able to experience the shallow end of the pool without disruption to the deeper end, closer to the bar and further seating area. Throughout my week stay all staff were kind, warm and made you feel safe at home. I would return to the Rockley in a heartbeat. I would highly recommend to lone travellers, couples, families, absolutely anyone!

First time is Barbados and staying at this hotel, this place will now be my home away from home, should I visit the Island again. Thanks for providing excellent customer service!
