This hotel cannot be faulted! Staff are all amazing and always there to help/advise with a smile. Rooms are large and maybe due updating/re-decorating but that's not a real criticism. Great vale for money in a fantastic location, straight accross the road from gorgeouse Rockley beach and in anideal place to expore the island. Our second time at this hotel, we came back because the first time was so good. The staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is kept very clean and it is very well located, just over the road from the lovely Rockley Beach and close to bus stops to Bridgetown and Oistins. We enjoyed the island tour with Troy and Dedreia, as well as the rum tour /tasting, both trips organised by the hotel. Not much else to add that hasn't already been written by other guests! We hope to come back again.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it, especially for solo travellers. From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. All the staff throughout the hotel were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made an effort to check in on me and have conversations, which made a huge difference as I was travelling alone. I felt very safe, comfortable, and well looked after the entire time. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. I even did my own little antibacterial wipe test (as I always do!) and everything was spotless, which really reassured me. Housekeeping were also excellent and very helpful. The location is perfect, and I loved the added touches like: • Pool and beach towels provided (no need to bring your own) • A daily token for a beach chair and umbrella, which was such a great bonus The food was fantastic, especially the breakfast — it was absolutely outstanding. Staff were also very accommodating with my nut allergy, which I really appreciated. I don’t drink alcohol, but the bar staff were amazing and happily made me mocktails on request, which were lovely. They were friendly, attentive, and made me feel included rather than limited by not drinking. What stood out the most for me was the overall atmosphere — the staff were chatty, warm, and genuinely caring, always making sure I was okay. Any small issue I had was dealt with immediately, which shows how well the hotel is run. As a solo traveller, this hotel made me feel: • safe • welcome • valued I would definitely stay here again. It’s a clean, friendly, well-located hotel with exceptional staff and service. This hotel truly made my stay in Barbados special. The level of care, cleanliness, and friendliness from the staff was exceptional, and as a solo traveller, that meant everything to me. Best Staff! One thing that can make or break a vacation is the experience with the staff. All my years dealing with the team never once have I had a bad experience. Thank you for having the best of the best in customer service.

My husband & I stayed here for a week after being on a cruise the week before. The hotel is small & friendly. A warm welcome at reception with the offer of rum punch or fruit punch for those that don't drink. A lovely touch. We had a one bedroom suite with a separate lounge & bathroom with a balcony overlooking the pool. There is also a kitchen area with a fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, teabags, coffee with milk creamer etc Theres also a tea towel & washing up liquid. Handy for those who prefer self-catering. We were bed & breakfast though & therefore had a nice variety to choose from. There's juice, tea, coffee, porridge, cereal, fruit, yoghurt & 4 hot foods that changed daily, along with an egg station for omelette, poached or fried eggs, etc. We dined out most nights as there's a great variety & different value restaurants nearby. We had the tapas at the hotel one night & that was really nice & good value. The drinks are reasonable too, especially if you catch the 2 happy hours 12 till 1pm & 6 till 7pm. There is plenty of transport to get around on & if you flag down the boogie buses, white minivans with a dark red stripe, they cost 3.50 Barbadian dollars & take you pretty much anywhere They are a bit shabby but an experience to behold but safe & great fun! There are also local buses & taxis all within distance of the hotel. The best part is that the beach is across the road from the hotel. It can be busy, but the vehicles passing usually slow down to let you cross. The locals are so friendly. Also, the hotel provides 2 vouchers daily for free sun loungers & an umbrella for the beach. You just hand them to the guy on the beach. In our case, we had Walter, who the hotel informed us to go to & he points out which to go to. The umbrellas are labelled The Rockly in bright yellow, so you can't miss them. The hotel also provides free beach/pool towels daily. We recommend a trip to Oistins, preferably on a Friday evening or over the weekend, as they have a fresh fish market with lots of eateries selling delicious fish meals of all varieties. It's also got live entertainment & a DJ playing all night. It's a great fun night out. St Lawrence Gap is close by & in the opposite way is Bridgetown. We just jumped on a bus to get to them. The hotel also has some fun entertainment nights with karaoke, singing, or a DJ playing good music. There is also a cocktail party one evening with free drinks & canapés for an hour. After that, you pay for drinks, but it's a nice relaxing atmosphere, enjoying a cocktail or a beer. The staff at this hotel are always smiling, friendly & helpful. Troy, in particular, makes sure he introduces himself & ensures all the staff are doing a good job. We really enjoyed our stay here at The Rockley & would come back in a heartbeat.
