Staff was incredible! MY wife and I kept wanting to meet the person who does the hiring.Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They would do anything when asked and was happy to do it. We had a one bedroom suite and it was great. Very good size with a nice kitchen/family area and the bedroom was separate so if one of us wanted to stay up you didn't bother the other. The porch was good size with a high top and two great chairs to sit in.The entire hotel was so clean and it felt like it was knew.Food was very good.. We Will go back

The little things that need attention. 1. New chairs and umbrellas for the beach 2. Make sure when you arrive , you get a tour and explanation of the property !! We didn’t 3. Every day we were here, guests secured pool/beach chairs early , which made it nearly impossible to get a location Staff is super nice. Spa is beautiful. I had services for 3 days and they were excellent. One of the services I received, the therapist forgot one of the steps (dry brushing ) I still loved it but for $350, I expected a little credit and the front desk said , “ well you liked the service”. Customer service at front desk needs some hospitality training Just Alot of little things that are fixable and would make this a 5 ?? facility.
O2 is unbeatable

Ocean 2 is incredible. If you are an older couple, there are quite loungers to read and relax in the sun. If you are a parent, there are amazing pool facilities and a safe private beach. O2 is also located in an extremely vibrant part of Barbados so there is a ton to do; within walking distance. The food is incredible - BOOK ORO early and enjoy! Staff is world class too
A Small Slice of Paradise

Our second time at the O2 and we were NOT disappointed. The entire experience was nothing short of outstanding on both occasions. The staff -- wait staff, beach/pool staff, front desk representatives, housecleaning, and supervisors are friendly, courteous, professional, and so very welcoming. We are already planning our return visit in 2027. Meanwhile, a shoutout to Rinaldo and Richard, who took care of our umbrella and towel needs for most of our visit. Both were personable, enthusiastic, and fun to talk to. They are outstanding, and just two of the gems with whom we interacted during our stay.
Lovely location with far more positives than negatives

Visited for a week with friends for a girls’ getaway. O2 is an all-inclusive resort, not too large, and located in a safe and walkable location near the Gap on Dover Beach. We stayed in the adults only building and enjoyed an incredible swim-up room. Margo met with us at check-in and was lovely and helpful. The lobby of beautiful, as are the grounds at this hotel. The restaurants, pools and beach are all at your doorstep. The beach was clean, soft white-pink sand, and I viewed sea turtles about 10m off the shore every day. Waves are quite strong at the beach directly in front of the resort but if you walk down the beach to the right (facing the ocean) along the seawall, you can get to Dover beach and it’s often much calmer. You can also take the sidewalk to the left as you leave the front of the hotel, and it’s a very short walk to Dover beach. Our room was quite spacious, very clean, and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was huge! Great water pressure and plenty of soap, shampoo and body wash. Towels get replenished without issue. When we needed extras, we asked and all was taken care of. Just allow some patience. The laminate flooring in the swim up room needs to be replaced due to water damage, but this is just an observation and didn’t bother us much. Food- we made two reservations for Oro, included in the AI fees. The dining was amazing, service was excellent. Lots of choices for all and simply delicious on both occasions. Elements was also excellent, and we ate there during all the ‘Italian’ nights (travelled with a friend with shellfish allergies so we avoided the Elements seafood nights). The service on Italian evenings was also excellent and the food was incredible. We also went to Elements each morning for breakfast and were never disappointed. There’s an egg/omelette station as well as plenty of fresh fruit and baked goods. The bagels were excellent. Brisas rooftop Tapas was also good, with great views and lovey decor. The service at Brisas was slow, for both food and drinks. Expect to be extra patient and don’t go if you’re staving as this is a tapas situation. Bluefin - as others have mentioned, this is the slowest service in the resort. We went twice for lunch. Once the service was slow but the food was excellent. Our second visit was terribly slow and the food came out cold. Lunch service took almost 2.5 hours. Staff were apologetic, but I wouldn’t return to Bluefin for another meal. There seemed to be plenty of servers so I can only assume the issues were with the kitchen. Fridges- there was a mini snack bar fridge in the main lobby and beside the Oasis bar. These were filled daily with parfaits, yoghurt, sandwiches and side salads. Given we ate a big breakfast and dinner most days, the sandwiches for our lunch were plenty for us- skip the wait at Bluefin and enjoy your time at the pool or on the beach instead. Bar service was great each day and most days there was service at poolside too. We asked for a bottle of wine to take to our room each night from Elements and staff were happy to oblige. Additionally, most days there were little fruit salads and a ‘Boozy Cart’ serving special cocktails and fruit in front of Elements. This was a lovely little treat. Overall- we very much enjoyed O2. We’d likely return as it was a very pleasant experience and we met lovely staff and other visitors alike. The neighbourhood feels safe and welcoming; we walked outside of the resort several times and never felt unwelcome or unsafe. This is a great location that isn’t too far from the airport and also situated close enough for a trip to see Bridgetown or to take a catamaran snorkel trip from the port. Highly recommend! Thank you for the great memories!
